Student answer (Band 6.0)

It is argue that all mode of transports such as cars, buses and trucks will be driverless in the future. There will be no other person in vehicles only passenger will travel. I think the advantages of diverless vehicles outwiegh the disvantages. In this essay I will explain this phenomenon throughly.

First and foremost, due to the advent of technology the world is changing fastly. After coming the AI many advancement made into our life and at workplace. In the future, vehicles will be diverless and it's operate through the artificial inteligence. This development has many advantages. Firstly, there will be huge reduction in the road accidents. For example, most of the time people are not follow the rules and regulations which become reasons of accidents. Therefore, AI will follow all the rules and regulations and most important AI has no emtions, so there will be no chance of drink and drive. Secondly, the most crucial that is AI will replace the human and it will be pretty cost effective for the transport companies and it also increase the companies revenue. For instance, human can operate for a resertain time frame they need rest and can't operate for 24 hours. While AI will operate non stops 24 hours and companies don't need to pay the salaries to the AI. Therefore, it will increase the revenue for companies.

On the other hand, this advance development has some drawbacks. Firts is it wil be unemployed the millions of people who work as a truck driver, bus driver and taxi driver. It will create a jobs crisis in the world. Secondly, the AI is not reilable it can be create a big challange for the world and risks the life of the people. For example, If a hacker hack the AI system and give the directon according to their ambitions, it can be really dengerous for the passenges. There is another chance, that AI will out of control of the human access and it operate indenpendly. This can be serious issue for the AI expertes.

In conclusion, although AI has some drawbacks, there advantages have much more impactfull. It reduce the overall cost and provide 24 hourse taxi facility. This development has some drawbacks but I thinks these drawbacks can overcome with proper mangement and plan.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the introduction: you believe the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages, and the conclusion restates this view. You address both sides with relevant points, including fewer accidents and lower operating costs, balanced against job losses and hacking risks. The examples help explain your reasoning, particularly the possibility of a hacker redirecting a vehicle. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others: the claim that AI will follow all rules and prevent accidents is broad, and the employment and loss-of-control concerns could be explained further. To strengthen the response, qualify claims and show more precisely how the benefits compare with the risks, rather than relying mainly on assertions.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on advantages, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First and foremost,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” make the direction of the argument easy to follow. Within paragraphs, “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “For example” help organise supporting points. At times, however, the linking feels mechanical, and some connections between claims are abrupt—for example, the move from AI operating continuously to increased company revenue needs a clearer explanation. The conclusion also repeats earlier points rather than drawing the comparison together. Use a wider range of referencing and transitions, and make the relationship between each example and its main claim explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “road accidents,” “artificial intelligence,” “revenue,” “hacker,” and “unemployed,” so the reader can understand the main argument. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision, such as “diverless,” “fastly,” “no emtions,” and “24 hourse taxi facility.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “give the direction according to their ambitions” and “the most crucial that is.” These errors do not prevent understanding overall, but they sometimes make the reader work to interpret your meaning. Build a bank of accurate transport and technology collocations, check spelling carefully, and choose precise expressions rather than repeating general terms such as “development” and “drawbacks.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including cause-and-effect clauses with “Therefore” and conditional structures such as “If a hacker hack the AI system…”. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors occur across sentence patterns and sometimes make relationships unclear. Examples include “It is argue,” “most of the time people are not follow,” “it also increase,” and “these drawbacks can overcome,” which show problems with verb forms, agreement, and clause construction. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention. Practise building accurate sentences with a subject and correctly formed verb, especially when using conditionals and modal verbs. Then proofread for agreement and punctuation; greater control of these patterns would make your argument easier to read.
