Student answer (Band 5.5)
As the technology is continues to develop, there will be a driverless cars and buses as it has advantages but it also comes with significant drawbacks. In my opinion, driverless cars and buses have more disadvanatges over its advantages.
There are different advantages of driverless cars, buses, and trucks such it may reduce road accidents as human get tierd, feel sleepy while driving or sometime drive after drinking, this may leads to alot roads accidents but if ai or technology begans to drive it may avoid the accidents on road. It also help in lowering operating cost as using the technology companies safe money by not paying salaries to car, bus or truck drivers. It is also helpful for the older and disable people can not able to drive they can be fully depend on these buses or cars.
As this technology have alot of advantages it also have drawback which are as follow, there will a mass job losses as most of people earn money driving a car or trucks if we shift totally driverless cars or trucks it will lead to unemployment. If we use driverless technology it will lead to a very expensive vehicles as it require alot of camers, sensors, lights, mirrors because driverless cars and buses only runs with the help of sensors or camers. Also in driverless cars and buses there is alot of risk of gliches, poor connection, which will lead to expensive services.
In conclusion, as driverless cars and buses will provide benifits to alot of people but it has drawbacks also which more than its advantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you believe the disadvantages outweigh the advantages, and you discuss both sides of the question. Relevant advantages include fewer accidents, lower operating costs and greater access for older or disabled people; you also identify job losses, high vehicle costs and technical failures as drawbacks. This covers the task, but some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For example, the claim that driverless vehicles may reduce accidents would be stronger with a specific explanation of how automated systems avoid human error, while the cost and “expensive services” points need clearer links to passengers or society. Develop the comparison by explaining why the disadvantages matter more overall, rather than leaving that judgement mainly to the introduction and conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on advantages, a paragraph on disadvantages and a conclusion. This makes the main direction easy to follow, and transitions such as “As this technology have alot of advantages it also have drawback” signal the shift between sides. However, some linking is mechanical, and ideas within the body paragraphs are often joined in long chains, making relationships less clear. The conclusion repeats the general position but does not summarise why the drawbacks outweigh the benefits. Use clearer topic sentences, separate distinct reasons, and add linking that shows cause, contrast or consequence. For instance, explain how job losses compare in importance with improved access for people unable to drive.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “road accidents,” “operating cost,” “unemployment,” “sensors” and “connection.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make the writing less precise. Examples include “safe money” for “save money,” “mass job losses,” “alot roads accidents” and “gliches.” Some terms are also repeated, particularly “driverless cars and buses” and “advantages.” Aim to use more accurate collocations and vary repeated wording; for example, refer to “automated vehicles” or “self-driving transport” where appropriate. Proofreading spelling and choosing precise phrases will make your arguments clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional reasoning such as “if we shift totally driverless cars or trucks it will lead to unemployment.” The main ideas are generally understandable, but errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement and articles occur across the response. For example, “the technology is continues to develop” has an incorrect verb pattern, and “it also help” does not agree with its subject. In “older and disable people can not able to drive,” the clause structure is incomplete. Build accuracy by checking subject–verb agreement and using complete clause patterns, such as “older and disabled people who cannot drive.” Shorter, correctly formed sentences would also help control the longer explanations.
