Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the future only passengers will travel in side the automobiles and all vehicles such as car, busses and trucks will not drive by drivers, has become widely disscused issuse. Although this trend has advantages and disadvantages,i believe the adbvantages of driverless transportation outweigh the disadvantages. The main reason of its possitive impact on reduce accidents and save time.

On the one hand, there are several advantage associated with driverless transportation, nevertheless the main advantages is that it can decreased road accidents. Many uncertain cercumstances occur in regular day with locals. If vehicles will run without driver, then it can be reduce. For example, Itally has driverless transport system, residence can walk without any tension through the road . As a result, it do not take any bad situations such as roadside accidents by automobiles.Furthermore, this system can safe time, because its not time consuming. people can easily reach their destination in a short time . To illustrates,in many country has electronic train/ metro train without rider, metro rails way just only about 10 to 15 minutes. Conciquently, individuals can safe their valueable time.

On the other hand, driverless vehicles has some drawbacks. The main disadvantage is that it may increase unemployment. Due to the fact that drivers will job less and they will not servive very well. For instance, many european countries drivers are suffering with financially after lossing workplace. As a result, it can give awful impact on their living life. Moreover, it can be create technical failures. Over using electronic transportation can be harmful in any case. For example, sofware erros and sensor failures can cause serious accident .As a result, people lifes will be at risk.

in conclusion, driverless buss, cars and trucks has both advantages and disadvantages. However, the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages, because of its good impact on reduce roadside accidents and it can safe time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You answer the question directly and maintain a clear view that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Both sides are addressed: you identify reduced accidents and time savings as advantages, and unemployment and technical failures as disadvantages. The examples about metro systems and sensor failures help make the points relevant. However, some ideas are less fully explained than others. For instance, the claim that driverless vehicles reduce accidents needs a clearer explanation of how removing human error improves safety, and the metro example does not clearly show how driverless cars, buses, and trucks save time. Develop each main point with a more precise explanation and a directly relevant example. The response meets the task’s length requirement; eight words copied from the prompt were excluded from the count.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion that restates your position. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” makes the main stages easy to follow. Within paragraphs, however, connections are sometimes mechanical or unclear. For example, “As a result” is used after claims without always showing a clear cause-and-effect link, and the transition from accident reduction to time savings could be smoother. Some references, such as “it” in “it can be reduce,” are also difficult to interpret. Use linking phrases only where the relationship is clear, and organise each paragraph around one main idea followed by its explanation and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “driverless transportation,” “unemployment,” “technical failures,” and “sensor failures,” so the reader can understand your main points. There are also attempts to use more specific language, such as “roadside accidents” and “destination.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the message less clear: “disscused issuse,” “cercumstances,” “servive,” and “software erros” are examples. Some combinations are also unnatural, including “safe time” and “living life.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations as complete phrases. More precise vocabulary for the mechanisms and consequences of driverless technology would also help you express ideas with greater clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional idea beginning “If vehicles will run without driver” and a reason clause introduced by “Due to the fact that.” This shows an effort to vary sentence structure, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, some errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction remain. For example, “the main advantages is” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “it can be decreased” and “it can be create” use incorrect verb patterns. The opening sentence is also difficult to parse because several clauses are joined without a clear grammatical structure. Practise forming accurate conditional sentences and checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb; this will make your ideas easier to follow.
