Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the upcoming days all types of vehicle will be driveless. The only human traveling inside there vehicles will be travellers. Although driverless vehicles has both advantages and disadvantages, I believe the
advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.
On the one hand, driverless car has several advantages. One of the main advantages is that it reduces the road accident. This is because majority driverless car use sensors, cameras, and AI technology, which identify problems quickly and take instant actions compared to human drivers. It is better than human because human feel tired, sleepy, and carelessness, where machine donot have this type of issues. Another significant advantage is save time and improves traveling facilities. Because instead of driving a car, people can use their time to do other important things. For example, students can use this time to revise their homework or taking some rest, where worker can use this time to do office work or write a important mail. As a result, people have much time to do effective task, and also improves their productivity.
On the other hand, driverless car has several disadvantages. A significant drawback is that it has risk of technical glitches and accidents. This is because driverless car are fully depends on softwares, sensors, and computer systems. If there is any system error happends, sensors does not able to identify the upcoming problem properly. Then, passengers maybe face accidents or other problems. Another significant disadvantage is losing a job. This is because if driverless car is work properly, then there is no need for diver. As a result, many driver loss their jobs, which increases the rate of unemployment and also effect in the country's economy.
In conclusion, while driverless car comes with certain disadvantages, such as risk of technical glitches and accidents, and losing a job, I contend that the advantages, namely reduces the road accident, save time and improves traveling facilities, outweigh the drawbacks.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and the conclusion restates this view. You address both sides with relevant points, including fewer accidents, productive use of travel time, technical failures, and job losses. The explanation of how sensors may reduce human error is reasonably supported, and the examples of students and workers make the time-saving point concrete. This meets the task well, with some elements developed more fully than others. In particular, the employment drawback is explained mainly as a consequence, without considering its scale or possible responses, and the conclusion repeats the listed points rather than drawing them together. To strengthen the response further, develop each key idea with a specific example or fuller explanation and make the comparison between benefits and risks more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. The progression from one main point to the next is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers navigate the argument. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical because several points begin with “Another significant advantage/disadvantage” and explanations repeatedly use “This is because” and “As a result.” Some references are also unclear, such as “it” in “it reduces the road accident,” where the intended subject could be the technology or the vehicle. Use a wider range of linking methods and make pronoun references precise; this would make the connections between claims and explanations smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “sensors,” “cameras,” “AI technology,” “technical glitches,” and “unemployment.” These terms help make the discussion relevant and specific. However, the range is limited by repeated basic wording such as “significant advantage,” “problem,” and “driverless car,” while several word-choice, form, and spelling errors reduce naturalness: “driveless,” “travellers” for people travelling, “software,” and “carelessness.” Some collocations are awkward, including “improves traveling facilities” and “effective task.” Aim for more precise expressions and check spelling and word forms. For example, “enhance travel convenience” is more natural than “improves traveling facilities,” and “road accidents” is more idiomatic than “the road accident.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including explanations with “because,” conditional structures such as “If there is any system error…,” and a concession in the conclusion. The main ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction. Examples include “driverless vehicles has,” “driverless car are,” “sensors does not able,” and “many driver loss their jobs.” The sentence beginning “Another significant advantage is save time” also needs a grammatical complement, such as “is that it saves time.” Work on subject–verb agreement and complete verb patterns, then proofread each sentence for articles and plural forms. More accurate control of these structures would make your varied sentence attempts clearer and more reliable.
