Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the upcoming era all types of transport including car, buses and trucks will be automatic. Only passengers will be travel on these transport. I concur with the notion that there are few advantages of remote transport but the disadvantages can't be ignored.

The world is growing faster day by day, we have seen alot of technological advancements nowadays, the technology has built from wheel to robotic cars, e buses, subways are the fastest modes of transport. In future, the technology will be more advance so many vehicles will be without drivers. It will provide ease and comfort to the locals, everything will be organize and controlled by the operators. This will make life really fast. For Example, the vehicle would not stopped more at any point or station. It designed in a way that it must follow instructions that has built in, so people could manage well and enjoy convenient travel.

On the contrary, there are some disadvantages which can't be pushed away. Without drivers, if a vehicle got any emergency or any software glitch, it may stop on the road anytime which can cause accidents on the running road. For Example, if a vehicle got any systematic error, it can't be control on a time. Rather, there are many chances that it could stop or uncontrolable. This affects on people mental health and raise fear.

To put it in a nutshell, i believe that how much technology will be advanced people need comfort and safety in all terms. There are many advantages of driverless vehicles but the disadvantages cann't be ignored because they may pay the price of people safety and inconvenience.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the question by discussing both convenience and safety, and your position is broadly that the disadvantages remain important: “the disadvantages can't be ignored.” The examples of a vehicle stopping or losing control because of a software problem are relevant to the topic. However, the response does not clearly answer the key comparison of whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The opening says there are “few advantages,” while the conclusion says there are “many advantages,” leaving your overall judgement uncertain. The benefits are also general—“ease and comfort” and faster travel—and are not explained with specific supporting detail. State your view consistently and develop one or two benefits and drawbacks to show why one side is stronger.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph about benefits, a paragraph about risks, and a conclusion. “On the contrary” signals the shift to disadvantages, while “To put it in a nutshell” marks the ending, so the reader can follow the broad organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear. The discussion of technological progress moves from the wheel to subways and then to driverless vehicles without a clear link, and the benefit paragraph repeats the idea of convenience rather than building it. Some connections, such as “Rather,” do not clearly express the intended relationship. Use topic sentences that directly state each paragraph’s main point, then connect each example to that point and make the conclusion follow the position established in the introduction.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “driverless vehicles,” “software glitch,” “systematic error,” and “convenient travel,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, sometimes making the meaning harder to follow. For example, “remote transport” does not naturally describe vehicles without drivers, and “the technology has built from wheel” is not an idiomatic way to describe technological development. “Uncontrolable” is also misspelled, and “raise fear” is an awkward collocation. Aim for precise, natural phrases such as “autonomous vehicles,” “a technical malfunction,” and “increase passengers’ anxiety.” Check spelling and collocations when revising.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if a vehicle got any emergency… it may stop,” and your main ideas are generally understandable. However, errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction, and some complex attempts are difficult to interpret. Examples include “Only passengers will be travel,” “It designed in a way,” and “it can't be control on a time.” The opening also joins two complete ideas with a comma: “The world is growing faster day by day, we have seen…” Practise accurate future forms and passive constructions, and separate or correctly link independent clauses. For example: “Only passengers will travel in these vehicles” and “The vehicle is designed to follow pre-programmed instructions.”
