Student answer (Band 6.0)
The technological advancement is increasing rapidly, In upcoming future, all transportation vehicles, such as cars, buses, trucks, will run on roads without needing a driver. The only individuals using these vehicles will be commuters. From my perspective its pros outweigh the drawbacks.
To begin with, the drive less vehicles will require the less efforts as compare with vehilces on roads now. Subsequently, they will reduce congestion and travel time, by running at constant speed on roads. For instance, if all of vehicles are running at constant speed without the interference of anything on roads, and are being connected with each other through sensors and cameras, which will reduce the risk of accidents as with the time spends on reaching from one destination to another. Furthermore many companies like tesla are advertising driverless car which are running on batteries. So they will be eco-friendly, and helpful in reducing pollution in surroundings and carbon dioxide levels globally.
Furthermore, Although drive less cars have advantages, the drawbacks cannot be ignored. Due to the fact when driverless car hits another driverless car who should be considered responsible for the accident, the company, or the person who own that car. Meanwhile many people love driving, their shifting towards driverless car might be a challenging task for them. Therefore, the driverless cars will be expensive in beginning so only rich will afford that.
In conculsion, I believe the driverless car will reduce risks and efforts we take during driving whereas the government should work with compaies to over come some challenges and regulate laws in the cases of accidents. Their should be proper security check to proioritise public safety and licence only should be provided to companies which meets the requirements. Overall, the advantages of driverless car outweigh its drwabacks.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction—“its pros outweigh the drawbacks”—and is maintained in the conclusion. You address both sides with relevant points: reduced effort, congestion and pollution as benefits, and accident liability, resistance from people who enjoy driving, and cost as drawbacks. The example of connected vehicles using sensors and cameras helps explain the safety point. However, some ideas are asserted rather than fully explained: the link between constant speed and reduced congestion or travel time is unclear, and the environmental benefit is tied to battery-powered cars without showing that all driverless vehicles would use them. To strengthen the response, develop each main point with a clearer explanation or specific example, and make the comparison of advantages and disadvantages more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion that restates your view. Sequencing is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This gives the essay a coherent overall arrangement. At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. “Subsequently” does not clearly show how reduced effort leads to the next point, while the long sentence beginning “For instance, if all of vehicles…” combines several ideas and makes their relationship difficult to track. Improve cohesion by dividing that sentence and using precise links between cause and effect. Clearer references to “these vehicles” or “this technology” would also help avoid repetition.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “congestion,” “sensors and cameras,” “carbon dioxide levels,” and “responsible for the accident.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “eco-friendly” and “public safety.” However, word choice and spelling errors are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: “drive less” is used where “driverless” is intended, “the less efforts” is not a natural phrase, and “drwabacks,” “conculsion,” and “proioritise” are misspelled. Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “the time spends on reaching.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for transport, safety, and environmental effects; this will make your adequate range more precise and natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure (“if all of vehicles are running at constant speed”) and a concession introduced by “Although.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors and punctuation problems reduce control. For example, “From my perspective its pros” needs a possessive form, and “when driverless car hits another driverless car who should be considered responsible” lacks clear sentence boundaries and grammatical framing. In “the person who own that car,” the verb does not agree with its subject. Commas and full stops are also missing or misplaced in several long sentences. Aim to make complex sentences more controlled: check articles, subject–verb agreement, and clause boundaries, then use shorter sentences where several points are being explained.
