Student answer (Band 5.5)
there is no denying the fact that in the coming days all cars, buses and trucks will be driverless, and people travelling inside are only passengers, while it is commonly held belief that the advantages of this matter are more than the disavantages, there is also an argument that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. This essay will analyze this topic from both point of views and express my opinion.
To begin with, driverless vehicles can make people feel more comfortable and safer, in other words, individuals won't have fear of beign kidnapped or any life thretening, in addition, the ride prices will be reduced because its not a human who's driving it so there will be no charges for the driver for driving the car, for example in a normal taxi the driver will count how much he spent on fuel and add his part for driving the car.
In the other hand, driverless cars can be dangerous in roads and cannot relay on it, it is also possible to say, passengers will have to risk their life because any system mistake can cause accidents which will put people's lifes in danger, Moreover, including AI and robots into this field will take huge individual's job opportunities causing an economic problem due to all taxi, trucks, and buses, for instance, a familly's father who's income depends only on driving trucks to make living for his kids wakes up someday on a robot taking his job will make him feel depressed and unusefull.
In conclusion, there is no easy answers to this question. In balance, i consider that disadvantages outweigh advantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the question by discussing benefits and drawbacks and state your view in the conclusion: “disadvantages outweigh advantages.” The points about lower taxi costs, safety risks and lost driving jobs are relevant, and the truck-driver example helps illustrate the employment concern. However, the opening says the advantages are greater, which conflicts with your final position, so your opinion is not consistent throughout. Some ideas are also less fully explained: for example, the claim that driverless vehicles make passengers safer is not supported with a clear reason, and the cost argument needs more precise explanation. Keep your position consistent from the introduction and develop each main point with a clear explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of the discussion. You also use linking expressions such as “To begin with,” “In addition,” and “In conclusion.” However, some connections are mechanical or inaccurate: “In the other hand” does not correctly introduce a contrast, and “while” in the opening joins ideas in a confusing way. The introduction’s claim that advantages outweigh disadvantages also clashes with the conclusion, weakening the progression of your argument. Use clearer topic sentences and make sure each paragraph develops one main point in a logical order, with references that clearly identify what “it” or “this” refers to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of relevant vocabulary, including “driverless vehicles,” “system mistake,” “economic problem,” and “job opportunities,” so the topic is generally clear. There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as a driver’s income depending on truck driving. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, including “fear of beign kidnapped,” “cannot relay on it,” and “make him feel depressed and unusefull.” Spelling errors such as “disavantages,” “thretening,” and “familly” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural, precise phrases and check spelling carefully; this will make your ideas easier to understand and give your vocabulary greater control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including sentences with reasons and examples, and the main message is usually understandable. However, control is uneven, especially in complex sentences. For example, “while it is commonly held belief” is missing an article, and “people travelling inside are only passengers” has an awkward sentence structure. In “a familly's father … wakes up someday on a robot taking his job will make him feel,” the clauses do not connect grammatically, making the example difficult to follow. There are also errors in verb patterns and agreement, such as “won't have fear of beign kidnapped.” Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine them with accurate clauses and punctuation.
