Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this modern era, transportation system is growing up rapdily in a short time. It is predicted that all the car will be autonomous with no driver only passengers. I believe that benefits are far outweigh the drawbacks.
On the one hand, due to advancement in a car industries all new model of vehicles are become advance with new features. As a large number of accidents are happen due to human error. However, the number of accidents decrease due to autonoums car because it is operated by artificial intelligence with large number of sensors. Due advancements the ratio of accidents around the world decreased. For instance in many developed counties the autonomous vehicles introduce by large number of car manufacturer. In addition, older people can easily travel without driver to any place and at anytime of a day. Moreover, the passenger use their time productively by working or sleeping during travelling.
On the other hand, a large number of people are work as driver around the world, due to this developments a large number of lose their job. As the job opportunities reduced with the passage of time it is directly effect the global economy. They will face financial pressure by losing job. Furthermore, for the driverless transport a large amount of investment is required for the improvement of road infrastructure to reduce the traffic congestion in a urban area.
In conclusion, although driverless vehicles may cause job loss, the benefits of safer roads and greater convenience are farfar more significant. Therefore, i believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction—“benefits are far outweigh the drawbacks”—and is reaffirmed in the conclusion. You address both sides with relevant points: reduced accidents and greater convenience are weighed against job losses and infrastructure costs. The examples of older passengers and people using travel time productively help explain the benefits. However, some claims are asserted rather than supported: the statement that accident rates have decreased in developed countries is unclear and lacks a specific example, while the economic effects of job losses are only briefly explained. To strengthen the response, develop each main point with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation or a concrete example, and clarify how driverless technology would reduce accidents.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a coherent overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion that answers the question. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” makes the progression easy to follow. Within the advantages paragraph, however, the discussion moves quickly from accident reduction to older passengers and productive travel time, so the relationship between these points could be made more explicit. Some linking is also mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “Moreover” and “Furthermore.” Improve progression by grouping related benefits and explaining how each supports your position; use referencing and transitions that show the relationship between ideas rather than relying mainly on standard connectors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “autonomous,” “artificial intelligence,” “sensors,” “traffic congestion,” and “financial pressure,” which allows you to discuss both benefits and drawbacks. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “the global economy.” However, noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision: “rapdily,” “autonoums,” and “farfar” are misspelled, while “transportation system is growing up” and “a large number of lose their job” are not natural expressions. Some vocabulary is repeated, especially “large number.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common word partnerships, such as “transport systems are developing rapidly” and “many drivers may lose their jobs.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “As” and a contrastive structure with “although” in the conclusion. The overall meaning is generally understandable, but grammatical errors occur across the response and sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “all the car will be autonomous,” “the number of accidents decrease,” and “a large number of people are work as driver”; these involve plural forms, subject–verb agreement, and verb construction. Articles and sentence structure also need attention in phrases such as “in a urban area” and “As a large number of accidents are happen.” Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them, checking agreement, verb forms, and articles in each sentence.
