Student answer (Band 6.0)

In current times hiring someone to do a task which you are unable to do because of your busy scedule or you migth not have correct knowledge of that field. It is a completly perfect way of providing employment.

In this essay I would be talking about why hiring someone to do a task is a good idea, rather than doing it yourself. They tend to be good with that job, your expertise would be in other field. rather than wasting your time to learn that skill and than doing it yourself, it is a efficient way to get someone to get the task done.

Nowdays people hire or delegate their task to other people so that they can focus on their own life. which is completly fair. most of the people have jobs, in order to earn their living. Women's for example, if they stopped doing their jobs they would become financial pressure on the person earning for the house. On the other side when they got their child to a daycare facility, in which people are specialised in childcare. they would be able to be more caretaking for the child and the mother would be able to earn money for living.

Although, hiring people is a good way of genrating income for other people. when things are very technical, hiring a specialised person is the best thing to do. On the other hand when its about doing small house chores people should be doing it by themselves. For example I have three dogs, I have hired a proffesional dog walker and trainner for them. which is required to keep all of them disciplined. I try to do most of my household things by myself.

In conclusion, I would day that both of them are equaly important based on the situation you are in.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing employment and the question of whether people should perform tasks themselves. However, the development is somewhat uneven. The argument regarding childcare is relevant, but the explanation of why household chores should be done personally is brief and lacks depth. The introduction is a sentence fragment, which impacts the clarity of the initial position. While the ideas are generally relevant, they could be extended further to reach a higher band. The conclusion is also quite abrupt and lacks a summary of the main points discussed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For instance, the transition 'Although, hiring people is a good way...' is used incorrectly as a sentence starter, and the punctuation throughout the text is inconsistent, with many sentences starting with lowercase letters or being fragmented. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the final paragraph where 'both of them' is ambiguous. Improved control over linking words and better sentence boundary management would significantly enhance the flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several spelling errors, such as 'scedule', 'migth', 'completly', 'genrating', 'equaly', and 'proffesional'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. While the student attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'delegate', 'specialised', and 'daycare facility', the overall range is limited. To improve, the student should focus on accurate spelling and incorporating more sophisticated collocations to express ideas more naturally and precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. The first paragraph is a sentence fragment, and there are issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage (e.g., 'Women's for example', 'become financial pressure'). Punctuation is a major weakness, with many sentences ending prematurely or lacking proper capitalization. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are often faulty. The student needs to focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading to eliminate these frequent errors.
