It is inevitable that traditional cultures will be lost as technology develops. Technology and traditional cultures are incompatible.

Opinion varies regarding the survival of traditions as adaptation of technology rises in the modern era. I strongly disagree with the notion and believe that technology and cultural heritage can co-exist together. This essay would elaborate on the reasons behind my position and give examples.

In the contemporary world, humankind has witnessed an enormous number of inventions in technological sector in a few years. Additionally, this phenomenon has transformed the human lifestyle all over the world so dramatically that 21st century is now known as the superlative era. Although technological advancement is advantageous in many aspects, individuals are concerned about its impact on traditional cultures across various countries. However, there is no evidence that can substantiate this argument.

In fact, the transformation in individual's life solely relies on thier choice. To illustrate, if a person feel strong sense of belonging to thier culture and traditions such as celebrating festivals, they can never be detached from their roots even with adaptation of technological advancement. For example, a research, which was conducted across India, shows that a major segment of the entire population accepted the technology thoroughly over time. However, they never appeared to feel less appealing towards their cultural heritage. They tend to celebrate all customary activities and festivals enthuastically.

To conclude, the possibility for the population to lose their culture solely depends on one's preference, it has no relevancy with technology.
