Student answer (Band 7.0)
It is often possible to give a salary to someone to do the thing that you do not want to do and do not have enough time. for instance, taking care of juveniles and household work. This essay will discuss whether this is a good way to provide work or if individuals should do it by themselves.
In today's busy world, people do not have enough time to take care of their children and household duties, so they hire others, which helps them earn money to support their family financially. It creates opportunities for babysitters, cleaners, and helpers. For example, part-time international students earn money by doing cleaning and babysitting jobs, which helps them contribute to their university fees. It creates employment for those who really need it.
On the other hand, although it creates job opportunities to them but it is also a sign of total dependence. People are busy with their schedules, after hiring others, they lose the opportunity to make an emotional bond with their children and they might miss noticing their little miles which they achieve by the time. This dependency creates the risks of trust, safety, and security. Although hiring others can help a numerous people for getting job, I think humans should give some time to their family and participate equally.
To conclude, Most of the people who really need jobs can get good salaries by taking care of someone's house and youths, but from my perspective, people should not rely only on them; they should provide their love and support to their own family and provide some help with household chores, which can help them not to be exhausted from their work and they will not feel overall dependant.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work and the necessity of personal involvement. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'emotional bonds' and 'little miles' (likely meaning 'milestones') is relevant but could be expanded with more specific examples or deeper analysis. The conclusion is a bit repetitive, restating points already made without adding a final synthesis. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph provides a more thorough exploration of the implications of the arguments presented, rather than just stating them.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. Cohesive devices such as 'In today's busy world', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as 'although it creates job opportunities to them but it is also a sign'. The referencing is generally clear, though the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect ideas more fluidly. Overall, the progression of ideas is easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the student to express their ideas clearly. There are some instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'juveniles' (which sounds overly formal or legalistic in this context) and 'little miles' (a misuse of 'milestones'). The phrase 'not to be exhausted from their work' is also slightly unnatural. While the student attempts to use a range of vocabulary, the lack of precision in some areas prevents a higher score. Focusing on collocations and more natural phrasing would significantly improve the quality of the writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'give a salary to someone to do the thing' (should be 'things'), 'help a numerous people for getting job' (should be 'help numerous people get jobs'), and 'not to be exhausted from their work'. Punctuation is generally acceptable, though some sentence boundaries are slightly blurred. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to suggest a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of complex sentence construction.
