Student answer (Band 7.0)
In today's world where money can help you get almost anything done for you such as home maintaince and nurturing childern. I believe this is a good way to provide livelihood to other people, which in my prospective is way better than doing it themselves. In this essay, I will advocate for my believes.
Firstly, in most industries related to doing job for normal individuals, they have to have a certification of cource completion for that field. Nowadays, due to many having to work more than one job, there is no time left for them to take care of their children all the time. Thats why many look for a qualified caretaker for their children, who has atleast had done childhood development cource to better understand the needs of the kid. To give a real example, I have a friend who with his wife works two jobs to provide what their kids wants, but because of this they has to leave them at child care facility to feel safe that their kids are not in danger.
Secondly, Safety is the first and formost concern of many. While many repairs can be done by normal people, they are really dangerous with proper safety gear and knowledge. Through watching tutorials online car repair could be done by most individuals. however many chose to take it to car repair shop instead because it has a necessity in most part of the world to go to their jobs and day to day living. Last month there was a news that someone's car stopped in the middle of a busy highway causing 7 cars to crash, reason way the person tries to repair their car themselves and made a mistake during it.
In conclusion, providing income to others this way is really good for keeping the economy going and giving a source for others to get food and other necessities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
You have addressed both parts of the prompt: whether this provides work for others and whether people should do these things themselves. Your position is clear from the introduction. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat uneven. While you provide a relevant example regarding childcare, the argument about car repairs is slightly tangential to the core question of household chores or childcare. To improve, ensure that your supporting examples directly relate to the specific examples mentioned in the prompt (chores/childcare) to maintain a tighter focus. Overall, you have covered the requirements of the task sufficiently.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
Your essay is logically organized into paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'In conclusion' to signal the structure of your argument. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions are abrupt. For instance, the jump from discussing childcare to car repairs lacks a smooth thematic bridge. To reach a higher band, try to use a wider variety of cohesive devices and ensure that referencing (e.g., 'this', 'these') is always precise to avoid ambiguity.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'livelihood', 'qualified caretaker', and 'necessity'. However, there are several spelling errors ('maintaince', 'childern', 'cource', 'formost') and some awkward phrasing ('in my prospective', 'has atleast had done'). These errors occasionally distract the reader but do not prevent the message from being understood. To improve, focus on proofreading for common spelling mistakes and work on using more precise collocations to express your ideas with greater sophistication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('they has to leave', 'reason way the person tries'), missing articles, and punctuation errors. While these errors are noticeable, they rarely impede the overall meaning of your sentences. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and refining your use of complex sentence structures to ensure they are error-free.
