Student answer (Band 7.0)
In today's fast paced world, Individuals have many responsibilities of work and family at the same time. Where it is sometimes possible to pay others to complete some tasks such as household chores and taking care of children because either you do not want to do it or do not have enough time to do it. I think it is good to offer those kind of work to other as it increases an employment opportunity and manage work-life balance at the same time. Moreover, Individuals should prioritise tasks and should only do by themselves if they can manage without make it stressful. This essay will discuss reasons behind my answers in subsequent paragraphs.
There are several positive factors of providing household works to others. The first and foremost is , employment opportunities. By offering daily chores to others, unemployed individuals can help to complete your duties and get a chance to earn money. Moreover, people are able to pay more attention on job duties and social activity which would be beneficial to manage work-life balance effectively. For example, my mother hired a lady to do cooking and cleaning so that she could spend more time with me and finish her work project impressively.
People should prioritise responsibilities and should try to manage everything; however, it should not make them stressed. This is because if individuals get tension, they would not able to concentrate on anything and it may ruin everything. Therefore, I think person should distribute all duties and should do the most important one by themselves.
In conclusion, Individuals are unable to do things like household chores and looking after kids due to their hectic schedule or they do not like it. Sometimes it is possible to pay someone which is good way to offer employment and manage personal and professional life together. Despite this, people should prioritise tasks, distribute duties and finish essential chores by themselves.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work for others and the question of whether people should perform these tasks themselves. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide a personal example regarding your mother, the discussion on whether people 'should' do these things themselves is a bit repetitive and lacks depth regarding the potential social or psychological implications of outsourcing personal responsibilities. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended with more nuanced reasoning rather than just stating that it helps avoid stress.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'The first and foremost', and 'Therefore', which help the flow. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing, such as the shift between 'Individuals' and 'you' in the first paragraph. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring consistent pronoun usage would enhance the overall flow and cohesion of the essay.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task. You use some topic-specific terms like 'employment opportunities', 'work-life balance', and 'hectic schedule'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'finish her work project impressively' (which sounds unnatural) and 'get tension' (instead of 'experience stress'). The range of vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. Focusing on more sophisticated collocations and avoiding repetitive phrasing would improve your score in this area.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('Individuals have', 'person should distribute'), article usage, and sentence fragments (e.g., 'The first and foremost is , employment opportunities.'). Additionally, there are issues with punctuation and awkward phrasing, such as 'should only do by themselves if they can manage without make it stressful'. These errors do not impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and verb forms.
