Student answer (Band 6.5)

There are many individuals who are providing their works others, and there are many circumstances for this statement, but few people think that, this is not a better way to give our work to others. I will provide a better explanation in the upcoming paragraphs and also answer some questions.

To begin with, many people have some valid reasons for giving their works to others, the most relevant reason is, their profession. We have seen that many communities who are working in high demand job and they have to live far from their hometown. Thus, they have to leave their children with someone else. For example, army officers who are living very far from their home, so they have to hire people who can take care of their children. Not only they, but also other professionals who are working in white collar jobs, they have to spend some amount of money on the individuals who can finish their household chores. To expand this, teachers or doctors, who have to manage their timetable, so they have enough time for housework.

On the other hand, many people who do not have to manage time or they have to live far from home, still they provide money to people who can work for them.

They should do their own work it can be beneficial for their mental health as well as physical, and also they can make a strong bond with their children and other family members. With explanation, many children who are living with caretakers, they do not share their secrets with their parents, they always give first priority to the caretakers.

In conclusion, individuals should provide some money to the people who can work of them, but not always if they have time so, they have to spend with their family members, which can be good for reduce stress levels, and through that they can save some amount for their future life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: whether this is a good way to provide work and whether people should do these tasks themselves. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention army officers and professionals, the explanation of why this is a 'good way of providing work' is underdeveloped. You touch upon the benefits of doing chores oneself, such as mental health and family bonding, but the argument could be more nuanced. The position is clear, but the overall depth of analysis is more consistent with a Band 6 level, as some points are stated rather than fully explored.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'On the other hand,' and 'In conclusion.' However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'With explanation, many children...' and 'through that they can save.' Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, making the flow between sentences feel a bit disjointed at times. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words would help elevate this score.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'household chores,' 'white collar jobs,' and 'caretakers.' However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and awkward phrasing, such as 'providing their works others' and 'work of them.' There is also some repetition of basic vocabulary. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise collocations and a wider range of less common lexical items to express your ideas with more sophistication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles, prepositions, and sentence construction (e.g., 'many communities who are working in high demand job,' 'Not only they, but also other professionals... they have to'). These errors are noticeable but do not typically impede communication. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Increasing the frequency of error-free complex sentences will help you move toward a higher band.
