Student answer (Band 6.5)

Nowadays, hiring people for household chores and looking after children are very common everywhere, individual don't want to do that particular work or some doesn't have enough time. some believes that, it is good way to providing work for others, However, some says people should do these things themselves. I would elaborate my views further with relevant examples.

Providing job opportunities is the best way to reduce the unemployment. There are several reasons why it is beneficial to giving jobs to others. In this fast paced world in some countries all people have to go for jobs to survive with their daily expense. Those all can get work from the individual who has enough money or they doesn't want to do household things like cleaning, washing, cooking and taking care of the baby. As, a result unemployed can have chance to earn money. Although not having enough time because of the working duties, they most likely to offer this kind of work. For example, most of the western countries has vacancies for baby cater and housekeeping.

Working for the house duties and taking care for babies it should be done by person who owns that home and baby. Moreover, doing all at home it just not a work, it's king of family bonding and giving best care to the babies. If any individual doesn't have time they can divide the household chores with their partner and make it more easy and convenient. However, those who doesn't like to do work for their homes sometimes, they should understand the one thing every time the person you hire is not responsible for the maintenance tasks and babies, specially those who doesn't go for jobs. For instance, in India most of the women stay home and take care of the regular cleaning and their offspring.

In conclusion, I would suggest to keep home clean and neat by individual with taking care for their children.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work for others and the argument for doing tasks oneself. However, the development is somewhat uneven. The first body paragraph effectively discusses the economic benefit of job creation, but the second paragraph, which argues for doing tasks oneself, is less developed and relies on a somewhat simplistic argument about family bonding. While the position is clear, the ideas could be extended with more sophisticated reasoning or specific, nuanced examples. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented in the body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a central theme. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'As, a result' is punctuated incorrectly, and 'However' is used at the start of sentences where it does not always logically contrast with the preceding thought. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'Those all can get work', where the antecedent is ambiguous. While the progression of ideas is generally followable, the lack of smooth transitions between sentences and paragraphs limits the overall flow of the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. There is a reliance on basic, repetitive phrasing such as 'do work', 'do things', and 'household chores'. Some word choices are unnatural or incorrect, such as 'baby cater' instead of 'nanny' or 'childcare provider', and 'king of family bonding' (likely a typo for 'kind'). While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of variety and the presence of errors in collocation prevent the essay from reaching a higher score in this criterion.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('individual don't', 'some believes', 'they doesn't'), article usage, and incorrect verb forms ('beneficial to giving jobs'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement. While the student attempts complex sentences, the high frequency of basic grammatical errors means that error-free sentences are not the majority. The control of grammar is insufficient to achieve a higher band at this stage.
