Student answer (Band 6.5)
In today's competitive world, people are very busy in their day to day life. Nowadays, it is very prevalent to hire somebody for the work like housing chores and looking after children. Some people believe that it is beneficial to pay someone for the work which they do not want to do. I believe that it has various benefits like maintaining work-life balance, spare time to unwind, job opportunities.
It is consider as a good way to provide jobs for others. The people who are not well educated are ready to do such jobs like cleaning, babysitting. It facilitates them in bearing their day to day expenses by doing some extra chores for you. Moreover, it is not a full-time job, they can able to manage their personal life along with their work life. For example, they can work in morning to clean your house and then again come in afternoon to pick children from school and looking after them. Furthermore, instead of doing labour jobs, they can do such jobs which do not require qualification. They need to work with honesty and dedication. Not only does it benefit for people who is doing job, but also allows the people who hire them to have a work-life balance. They can also spend quality time with their families.
Moreover, it increases of standard of living of the people who are living under poverty line. It facilitates them to manage their day to day expenses and have a good meal at least once in a day. Moreover, they can make an arrangement to send their children to schools.
In my opinion, it is arduous for them to handle household chores with full time work. They can hire suitable candidate who can help them in gaining work-life balance. In addition, people should be more aware while hiring these people because they allow them to enter in their house and allow them to be close to their children. They need to do their proper background check before allowing them to enter in their house.
In conclusion, people can hire as it is a good way of providing work for others but they need to be more careful while hiring candidate for such jobs.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work for others and the question of whether people should perform these tasks themselves. The position is clear throughout. The ideas are relevant, particularly the discussion on economic benefits for low-income workers and the necessity of work-life balance for busy professionals. However, the development is somewhat repetitive, particularly regarding the economic benefits for workers. To reach a higher band, the argument could be strengthened by exploring the potential negative impacts of outsourcing personal responsibilities, such as the loss of family bonding time or the development of life skills, which would provide a more balanced perspective.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'In addition' are used to link sentences and paragraphs. However, some transitions are mechanical, and there is occasional awkwardness in the flow of ideas. For instance, the transition between the economic benefits for workers and the personal benefits for the employer could be smoother. Referencing is generally clear, but the essay would benefit from a more varied range of cohesive devices to improve the overall flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their meaning clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'arduous' and 'prevalent'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'housing chores' instead of 'household chores', 'increases of standard of living' instead of 'increases the standard of living', and 'they can able to' which is grammatically incorrect. The range is sufficient to discuss the topic, but more precise and varied vocabulary would be required for a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader. Examples include 'It is consider as' (should be 'considered'), 'people who is doing job' (should be 'people who are doing the job'), and 'they can work in morning' (missing article 'the'). Additionally, there are issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage throughout the text. While the errors do not prevent understanding, they are frequent enough to limit the score to a 6.0.
