Student answer (Band 6.0)

Few times people want other to do our daily life work, which we dont want to do or don't have schedule time to do so. I belive its very helpful when life gets to busy so we can get some help becuse it provide work for others whereas depending so much for work on maids or workers makes u less self independent.

One major benefit of this is when we have to manage work, children and and household chores its get very difficult for womens to manage all these. Firstly, they went to office do a lot of stuff stressed all day, came back home exhausted, then they take care of their children and perpare meals. If they hire a maid most of their work is done early by the end of day which makes them feel relaxed and they c an give time to their chidren and so on. Also, it provide job opportunities for others. if someone dont have that much experience in doing work like womens but they are excellent in meal preparation and takeing care of children its provide job opportunities for them with good earning wages.

On the other hand, it makes them so independent for work on others. suppose if a maid is doing all everyday chores. Due to a reason if she leaves then it becomes a burden for women to do all that alone. Getting out of comfort zone is very hard at that time. moreover, giving them all control of house will cause problems such as not interacting with your children, if a women be not all around all day to their children it means she is not giving attenstion to them which is the most important thing.

In conclusion, its important to hire a maid if there is alot of work to do so it will be easy to manage all household chores but doing so on regularly makes us indepent on them for all the work which makes us lazy and less attentive

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the economic benefit of providing work and the personal implications of outsourcing chores. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the benefits for working women and job creation, the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'getting out of comfort zone' is a bit vague. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph provides a clear, well-supported argument rather than just listing points. The position is clear, but the supporting evidence could be more sophisticated and less generalized.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Also', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' to signal shifts in your argument. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'they' in the second paragraph, which creates ambiguity. Additionally, some transitions feel forced. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows naturally into the next would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'work', 'do', and 'things' repeatedly. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'belive', 'becuse', 'perpare', 'chidren', 'attenstion', and 'indepent'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable. To improve, try to incorporate more precise synonyms and pay closer attention to spelling and word formation to demonstrate a more sophisticated control of the language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there is a high frequency of grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'it provide job opportunities'), incorrect verb tenses (e.g., 'they went to office'), and missing articles. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While you attempt complex sentences, they often contain errors that distract the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb forms before attempting more complex structures.
