Student answer (Band 6.0)
Sometimes it is possible to appoint somebody and pay for the things that you are not willing to do or don't have time to do such as household chores or childcare. According to my perspective, this is a good way of creating employment opportunities, but it is not good to outsource everything. In further paragraphs I will discuss in detail the reason behind the same.
To begin with, more and more people are now appointing others for some works such as household chores and looking after children as they lack time and they have ample of work and it's hard for them maintain work life balance. Moreover, by outsourcing this work they create employment for others thus contributing to economy and help others earn their livelihood.
On other hand, some things such as childcare should not be done by others as children are their own responsibility. Moreover, the bond between a parent and a child gets stronger if they spend time with them and take care of them. Further, they will know how their child is behaving. If these things should be done by someone else, then it's not fair for the child as he will not get the love and affection he deserves. Moreover, parents will not get the personal experiences with child such as taking first step when he starts walking thus, they miss a lot of things.
To summarize, we can say that some works such as cleaning or laundry can be done by others as it creates employment but looking after children should not be done by others even though they have lack of time as these are some things that makes child suffer due to lack of attention from parents.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the economic benefits of outsourcing and the personal responsibility of childcare. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While the economic argument is mentioned, it lacks specific examples or deeper analysis beyond a general statement about the economy. Similarly, the argument regarding childcare is repetitive, focusing heavily on the emotional bond without exploring other potential nuances of the debate. To reach a higher band, you should provide more concrete examples or explore the counter-arguments in greater depth to fully extend your ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'On the other hand' are used to guide the reader through the argument. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there is a tendency to rely on repetitive sentence starters. The referencing is generally clear, though the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to create a more natural, sophisticated progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common collocations, such as 'employment opportunities' and 'work-life balance'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there are instances of slightly unnatural phrasing, such as 'appointing others for some works' (should be 'tasks') and 'the reason behind the same'. To improve, focus on using more precise vocabulary and avoiding repetitive word choices like 'things' and 'done'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as 'they have ample of work' (should be 'an ample amount of work' or 'a lot of work') and 'If these things should be done by someone else' (which is slightly awkward phrasing). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are minor errors in comma usage. The control of grammar is sufficient for communication, but more consistent accuracy in complex structures is needed for a higher band.
