Student answer (Band 6.0)

Time plays a crucial role in everyone's life in form of their career developement, education and healthcare. It is believe that its is better sometimes that we can give our responsibilities to others by paying for basic things like maintaining the house, looking after childrens etc...,. However i will discussed the reasons for the above statements along with the conflict views in the forthcoming paragraphs.

To begin with, due to enhancement in the technology people are becoming so hectic in their life schedules that they should not balance between their family life and work. So, it is a good way to hire a people who look for the basics house responsibilities like to look after a children and maintain cleanliness in house. It is also beneficial to the poor people that they get an employement. So, it will also be good impact in society in decreases of pick pocketing and chain snatching. Thus, society will be free from small crimes as unemployement rate decreases.

There are myraids of reasons why individuals need to look after such responsibilities. Firstly, parents are the role model of their children and they follow their path of their parents. But, this is not happening now a days because mostly people are living in a nuclear families and there are no one to look after their children. Due to this they engaged in a bad company and use to addicted towards alcohol, smokings and attending a daily parties because of their loneliness. So its an parents responsibilities to look after their children rather than hiring someone. Secondly, many children are suffering from the anxiety and depressions because of their study pressure due to which they take a wrong step if they not score a good marks in exams. So, parents should spend their times with their individuals to teach about moral values and ethics and how to be a practical in life.

To sum up, it is a good thing that we distribute money to the needy people in terms to complete our basics responsibilities, but every parents have their responsibilities in terms of teaching values, ethics, how to be social in society and many thing in terms of their good success of their children.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work for others and the necessity of personal involvement in childcare and household tasks. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While the economic argument regarding employment is clear, the link between hiring help and a decrease in 'pick pocketing' is a leap in logic that lacks sufficient support. The second body paragraph effectively argues for parental involvement, though the connection between hiring help and children's 'anxiety and depressions' is presented as a direct consequence without enough nuance. The position is clear throughout, but the depth of analysis could be improved to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'Firstly', and 'To sum up', which help guide the reader. However, there are instances where the flow is slightly mechanical or awkward, such as the transition between the economic benefits and the social consequences. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the pronoun 'they' is used ambiguously. Overall, the progression of ideas is coherent, but the management of cohesive devices could be more sophisticated.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the student to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'myraids' (misspelled) and 'enhancement in the technology'. However, there are several spelling errors ('developement', 'employement', 'smokings') and word choice issues ('hectic in their life schedules', 'distribute money to the needy'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the range and precision of the language used, preventing a higher score in this criterion.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the student attempts complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('It is believe that its is better', 'parents are the role model'), incorrect article usage, and punctuation errors (e.g., 'etc...,.'). These errors are noticeable and occur throughout the text, though they rarely prevent the reader from understanding the intended meaning. To improve, the student should focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common grammatical slips.
