Student answer (Band 6.5)
People are now hiring employee to their own work because they might not either have enough time for it or they do not wish to such specific task by their own. This essay will indicates that whether it is right or wrong to allocate your own task to someone else and people should do the task by their own or not.
On one side it is very positive as it introduce employment in the market. There many people who requires the job to fulfill their and their family's needs. Security guards, house keepers etc. provide essential services to have great contribution towards economy. Outsourcing the people helps to increase the productivity and reduce the stress level.
On the opposite side, it has been overserved that there are many negative consequences of this practice. Household chores and childcare are fundamental responsibilities that strengthen family relationships and teach valuable life skills. Parents who spend time caring for their children often develop stronger emotional bonds and have greater influence on their children's values and behaviour. Similarly, performing simple household tasks encourages independence, discipline, and a sense of responsibility. People are becoming so lazy that they also need to suffer from health problems.
In my opinion, the most sensible approach is to maintain a balance. Hiring assistance is reasonable when work commitments, health issues, or exceptional circumstances make it difficult to manage household responsibilities. However, people should not avoid important duties such as participating in daily household activities and spending quality time with family.
In conclusion, employing others for domestic work is an effective way to create jobs and support the economy. Nevertheless, individuals should continue to perform their own household responsibilities whenever possible to preserve family bonds, develop life skills, and maintain personal responsibility.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the economic benefits of hiring help and the personal value of performing tasks oneself. The position is clear throughout, and the ideas are logically developed. However, the introduction is slightly weak due to grammatical errors that obscure the thesis statement. While the arguments are relevant, they could be further extended with more specific examples to reach a higher band. For instance, the point about 'lazy' people is a bit of a generalisation and could be better supported by discussing the psychological impact of outsourcing. Overall, the task is well-covered.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organised with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Each paragraph has a central theme, such as the economic benefits versus the personal developmental benefits. Cohesive devices like 'On one side', 'On the opposite side', and 'In conclusion' are used effectively to guide the reader. However, the transition between the second and third paragraph could be smoother, and some referencing is slightly mechanical. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear and easy to follow throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, with some attempts at less common items such as 'fundamental responsibilities' and 'exceptional circumstances'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'hiring employee to their own work' instead of 'hiring employees for their own work' and 'outsourcing the people' which is slightly unnatural in this context. While the range is sufficient to convey meaning, it lacks the precision and flexibility required for a higher band score. More varied and precise vocabulary would enhance the quality of the argument.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms and articles (e.g., 'this essay will indicates', 'do not wish to such specific task', 'there many people who requires'). These errors do not impede communication, but they are noticeable and occur throughout the text. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of infinitives. The punctuation is generally accurate, but the grammatical control needs to be more consistent to reach a higher band.
