Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, people do not want to do some works such as household tasks or looking after child and they just hire someone for doing those tasks. I think it is best way to giving work for others and people should not to do things by themselves,

First and foremost reason behind why is it good way to give work for others is not only save time but also they can spend more time with their family members. Because when the all family member working in busy life it is hard to get time for those things. For example, Ambani's family members are really busy in their business because every members doing work and they have 11 member of staff for doing household chores and other works.

Moreover, If person will do those task , they can not get time to spend quality time with there son or daughter and even with there mother-father. Furthermore, doing household chores themselves can also effect their occupation career. That means, it will have chance to distract them with their goal in business or job. For instance, mr. Patel is doing all works himself and due to that reason his wife gave him divorce.

In conclusion, I prefer giving household tasks or looking after children to someone is good option. Because of that People can easily find a time to spend with their wife and children. Apart from that, if people will do those things themselves it will have high chance to distract from their goal and it can create more family issues.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: whether hiring help provides work for others and whether people should perform these tasks themselves. However, the development is limited. While you provide a clear position, the arguments are somewhat repetitive and rely on anecdotal examples (e.g., the Ambani family or Mr. Patel) rather than a broader analysis of the socio-economic implications. The ideas are relevant but lack depth, and the conclusion simply restates the introduction without adding new insight. To reach a higher band, focus on extending your arguments with more nuanced reasoning regarding the societal impact of outsourcing domestic labor.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'First and foremost reason behind why is it good way' is grammatically awkward and disrupts the flow. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between ideas feels forced. While there is an overall progression, the lack of sophisticated linking words makes the argument feel disjointed. Improving the variety and accuracy of your transition signals will significantly enhance the logical flow of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but remains quite basic and repetitive. You frequently use phrases like 'do those tasks' or 'do things', which limits the precision of your writing. There are also noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'effect their occupation career' (should be 'affect their professional career') and 'mother-father' (should be 'parents'). To improve, you should aim to use more precise terminology related to employment and domestic life, and work on using collocations more naturally to avoid awkward phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'every members doing work'), incorrect article usage, and awkward sentence construction (e.g., 'people should not to do things'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence structure and proofreading for common grammatical slips will help improve your score.
