Hiring person for taking care of one's house and for babysitting is natural among people these days , because everyone nowadays are career focused do not get time to pay attention to ones house work. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing employment and the necessity of personal involvement in childcare. However, the development is somewhat superficial. While you mention that hiring help aids employment and organization, the arguments could be extended with more depth. The position is clear, but the discussion on childcare is slightly repetitive. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully explored with more specific reasoning rather than just stating the obvious. The conclusion summarizes the main points effectively, but ensure the link between 'family matters' and 'dissatisfaction' is explained more clearly to avoid ambiguity.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'However', 'To illustrate', and 'In conclusion' to signal transitions. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as the sentence fragment 'which stays with them forever' which should be attached to the previous sentence. Additionally, some sentences lack smooth transitions, making the progression feel a bit disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring all sentences are complete would enhance the overall cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'babysitting', 'career focused', and 'household chores'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there are some awkward collocations, such as 'make bond with babies' instead of 'form a bond' or 'build a bond'. There are also minor errors in word choice, such as 'provider' being used in a way that is slightly unclear. To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary and ensure that word combinations sound natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'everyone nowadays are career focused') and article usage (e.g., 'keep their babies with caregiver'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some sentences starting with lowercase letters after a period or being fragmented. These errors do not completely impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and sentence boundaries will significantly improve your accuracy.
