Student answer (Band 5.0)
Well here i would like to share my thought about household work.
Now a days people have become very busy in there work life and they do not have time to do house work or seeing there children. By the time they come home they get stressed out and they just hit the bed. Moreover if we see even women do not have time for house and their child.
My point of view is its is not necessary to pay others to do all their personal work like taking care of there children which i feel its not convenient. Always keep spare time for personal work so that you can manage your on time. It gives a good feeling to be with your own person and kids. Relevantly i feel some people are running aways from there duties and want to ignore this kind of responsibility. Which can cause problem in future between parent and children.
I do believe in now a days world people have become so busy because of high technology. It is forbidden that now a days no one has time because of hectic schedule goin on around the world. I would suggest we can pay and keep servants to keep our house clean plus taking care of children when we have less time for the house. But better to keep eyes on both place at your work and home. Always make sure what is going around us so that we can be prepared for everything around us.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: whether paying for services provides work for others and whether people should perform these tasks themselves. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments are somewhat contradictory, as you suggest it is not convenient to pay others, yet later suggest that hiring help is a good idea. The response lacks depth and specific examples to support your claims, remaining at a general level. To improve, you should clearly state your position in the introduction and ensure each paragraph focuses on developing one clear argument with supporting evidence or logical reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between ideas is often disjointed. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'I do believe', the connections between sentences are sometimes weak or confusing. For instance, the transition between discussing the importance of personal time and the impact of technology is abrupt. The paragraphing is present but does not effectively group related ideas, which makes the progression of your argument feel somewhat repetitive and circular. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the logical flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally basic and repetitive. You rely on simple phrases such as 'do not have time', 'good feeling', and 'personal work'. There are also some issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'seeing there children' (should be 'looking after their children') and 'running aways from there duties'. The spelling errors, such as 'there' instead of 'their' and 'on' instead of 'own', are frequent and distracting. To reach a higher band, you need to incorporate a wider range of vocabulary, including topic-specific collocations and more precise academic terminology, while ensuring accurate spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'women do not have time for house' and 'it is forbidden that now a days no one has time'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing commas and run-on sentences. The sentence structures are mostly simple or compound; there is a lack of complex sentence structures, which are necessary for higher band scores. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically verb tenses and pronoun usage, before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
