Student answer (Band 5.5)
These days we can hire a people for the things like household chores or looking after the children or droping groceries at door or walking dog at the park. And there is different opinion of the peoples about these works. Some thinks its a good way to provide workd to others or other thinks that people should do these things themselves. We will discuss the both factors in this eassy.
Firstly, hiring a poeple for these works its a good way to provide a work to others. And its also essential for the peoples who often busy in there work and never get a time to do these things by their self. For example a working mom hire a college student to look after three years old daughter because she has some important meeting to attand and she can not leave her alone at home on the contrary some student girls do this baby siting job to earn some extra money. They prefer this job because its safe and convinent compare to working in a outdoor work. However, hiring people for house chores or baby siting will increase the expenses.
Although its important for physical and some time mental health that people should try to do all work by them self like walking a dog in the park fresh air is not only a good physical activity it also affect on the mental health.Conversly if they do not have a time it's better to hire someone to do it for them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the benefits of providing work for others and the personal value of performing tasks oneself. However, the essay is slightly under the 250-word minimum, which limits the depth of the arguments. The ideas are relevant but remain somewhat superficial; for instance, the discussion on mental health is brief and lacks sufficient development. To improve, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations and ensure you meet the minimum word count to allow for a more comprehensive exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the structure is quite basic. While there is an attempt at logical progression, the transitions between ideas are often mechanical or repetitive (e.g., 'Firstly', 'However', 'Although'). The use of cohesive devices is limited, and some sentences feel disjointed. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to connect your ideas more fluidly. Additionally, ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence to improve the overall flow of your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word-choice errors, such as 'hiring a people' (should be 'hiring people') and 'droping groceries' (spelling error). You rely on basic, repetitive vocabulary throughout the text. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific collocations and avoid repeating the same words. Expanding your vocabulary to include more sophisticated synonyms will help you express your ideas with greater clarity and impact.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Some thinks'), article usage (e.g., 'a work'), and incorrect prepositional phrases. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors prevents a higher score. Focus on proofreading your work to correct basic errors and practice using more complex sentence structures with greater accuracy.
