Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this current era, individuals pay to someone else for work because they do not have time to do it or they are lazy to do it . I am partially agree with this statement and I would explain the reson that why this trend is good for people.

In addition, the first point is to give employment opperunities, in some reason some of the people are not well educated to compete in this era so is it the better chance to do work and take their expenses. For example, In some coutries which are not finacially well so they do not studying but they want to do work so if they can work in another's house they can get payment and do their expenses.

On the other hand, disabilities, because someone may be have some disabilities and they are not able to do their own work . For instant , In foriegn countries their are lot of people hired home support workers to do their stuff because they arenot capable to do this.

In the end, in some point it has negative impact because some people are busy in their life so that they are not giving more focus on their own house and they faced some difficulties like stollen the things and they do not get clean things becacause they do not have time to check the work. And due to this the staff do the work according their choice.

In culclusion, although this is good trend but in some cases it has negative impact on human's lives. Some of the get jobs but some of disconnect with their household chores.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the benefits of providing employment and the necessity of doing tasks oneself. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding employment opportunities and disabilities are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. The discussion on the negative impacts is slightly confusing, as it focuses on security concerns (stolen items) rather than the philosophical or personal aspect of whether people 'should' do these things themselves. To improve, you should provide more nuanced arguments and ensure each point is fully explained with clear, logical examples rather than general statements.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'In addition, the first point is...' and 'For instant' (instead of 'For instance') are used in ways that do not always flow naturally. The transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, and the concluding paragraph is quite brief and does not effectively synthesize the arguments presented. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help create a smoother progression of ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'reson' (reason), 'opperunities' (opportunities), 'coutries' (countries), 'finacially' (financially), and 'stollen' (stolen). Additionally, some word choices are unnatural, such as 'do their expenses' or 'disconnect with their household chores'. To improve, you should focus on learning common collocations and proofreading for basic spelling mistakes. Expanding your range to include more topic-specific vocabulary related to employment and domestic life would also be beneficial.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('someone may be have'), article usage ('in some reason'), and sentence fragments or run-on sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around commas and periods. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar limits the score. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring that your verbs and pronouns agree correctly before attempting more complex structures.
