Student answer (Band 6.5)
In this fast paced world, there are events when we ourselves do not get enough time to work on our daily chores. I believe getting help from someone is always a better option when you yourself cannot make it on time.
First and foremost, everyone nowadays is working for their wages and that has reduced the amount of time we spend at home. Due to busy schedules and hectic lifestyle, we usually do not do the necessary household chores. It is highly preferable to get some help from somebody- by hiring them. I believe it has multiple benefits . First of all, it creates a way of employment for the needy people as well as it also reduces the stress of getting things done.
Moreover, if you are earning well, spending on yourself is the least you can do. I agree looking after children should be done by ourselves, as it increases the bonding between both of us. But during difficult situations due to work it is highly preferable to get help from professionals. As in a case study done on working parents, it was seen that most of them are either busy doing household chores and do not give time to their kids. Which i think can be fixed, if we get help and spend that time on our kids.
Furthermore, I believe doing household chores makes us active, and not doing them by ourselves can make us lazy. To overcome that, I believe we should rather join some fitness classes or activities that motivates us to stay fit.
To conclude, I believe doing household chores are important. But if we do not have enough time, it is highly preferable to get help and spend that time for yourself or have quality time with your family. Which is really important and helps everyone to grow and bond together as well as stay fit and happy.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: whether it is a good way to provide work and whether people should do these things themselves. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding employment for the needy is mentioned but not fully explored in terms of economic impact. The discussion on childcare is relevant, but the transition between the benefits of hiring help and the personal responsibility of chores feels slightly disjointed. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific examples or deeper analysis of the societal implications of outsourcing domestic labor.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. Cohesive devices such as 'First and foremost', 'Moreover', and 'Furthermore' are used to guide the reader, though some transitions feel a bit mechanical. There are minor issues with referencing; for example, the sentence 'Which i think can be fixed' is a sentence fragment that relies on the previous sentence for meaning, which slightly disrupts the flow. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear and easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing for clear communication. You use some appropriate collocations like 'hectic lifestyle' and 'quality time'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there is a reliance on simpler phrasing. There are also minor errors in word choice, such as 'events when we ourselves do not get enough time' (instances/times would be more natural). To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary and avoid repetitive phrasing like 'highly preferable' used multiple times.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is always clear, there are recurring grammatical errors. For example, 'doing household chores are important' should be 'is important' (subject-verb agreement). There are also punctuation and capitalization issues, such as 'Which i think' (lowercase 'i'). Some sentences are slightly awkward, such as 'it creates a way of employment for the needy people'. While these errors do not impede communication, they prevent the essay from reaching a higher band score.
