Should people do these things themselves?

Student answer (Band 5.0)
today I will be writing about sometimes we pay for work we don't want to do or don't have time,
well as we can see life is getting busy day by day, we have so much to do in our daily basic, we get tired and we don't have enough of the energy to do the extra work or the housework and able to give sometime to kids even well balancing the life is not that simple but as we grow, we need to learn how to balance the life,
So, we need to manage the time and things, we need to do the house chores as well as looking after the kids by our own selves.
well, the reason we have to do our own is because, as we do our own work, we know the things and we would be able to cherish the moment as well we all have hard time we give up but I believe give other person opportunity to work at your own house is bit uncomfortable and not safe even now days, we cants trust the people around for the house and for the kids as well.
I know it is difficult to manage with working as well as doing house chores and kids being around but it's always about teamwork. As we do things become simple and easily to manage in daily life.
For me doing things for us is better than making someone to do for us.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, but the development is insufficient. The ideas regarding the benefits of doing chores oneself (bonding, safety) are mentioned but not fully explored or supported with concrete examples. Furthermore, the response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly limits the depth of the argument. The position is clear, but the lack of elaboration and the brevity of the essay prevent it from reaching a higher band score. To improve, you must expand on your points with specific scenarios or logical consequences to meet the length requirement and provide a more comprehensive discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks a clear paragraph structure, appearing as one long, run-on block of text. While there is a basic attempt to sequence ideas, the lack of paragraphing makes the progression of thought difficult to follow. Cohesive devices are used in a very repetitive and mechanical way, such as the frequent use of 'well' and 'as we'. There is a lack of variety in linking words, which hinders the flow of the argument. To improve, you should organize your essay into clear paragraphs (introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion) and use a wider range of transition signals to connect your ideas more fluidly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, relying on simple phrases like 'do things', 'do our own work', and 'house chores'. There is little evidence of less common lexical items or idiomatic language. Some word choices are imprecise, such as 'daily basic' instead of 'daily routine' or 'day-to-day life'. The limited range of vocabulary restricts the ability to convey complex ideas effectively. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific collocations related to work-life balance and household management, and try to avoid repeating the same simple verbs throughout your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors, particularly regarding sentence structure and punctuation. Many sentences are run-on, lacking proper full stops or conjunctions to separate distinct thoughts. There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage, such as 'give other person opportunity' instead of 'giving another person an opportunity'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors and the reliance on simple sentence structures limit the score. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for punctuation errors, specifically ensuring each sentence has a clear subject and verb.
