Student answer (Band 6.5)
In contemporary society, the increasing prevalence of hiring helpers has generated considerable debate among citizens. This development has several notable merits and demerits which will be discussed in this essay along with my perspective at the end.
To commence with, one biggest advantage of this trend is time saving. Nowadays, citizens are finding it hard to maintain work life balance because of long hour shifts and family responsibilities. So they choose to hire workers who can make nutritious cuisines for family. By this all help from the helpers parents don't have to worry about children's diet and health and they can utilize this time to spend with their kids. A research of Oxford university depicts parents having house hold help stay 26% more happy in comparison to once with no help. Furthermore, it generates employment for daily wage workers which play vital role in nation's economy because when people will they will spend if they spend it boosts countries wealth.
Nevertheless, this trend is not without its shortcoming. The most significant setback is kids becoming lazy and dependent. It is often seen whatever kids learn in early stage of life they adapt. If kids will see guardians are not cooking food and their helpers do other stuff of the house for instance, cleaning house, dishes and laundry in an long run children will also do the same even though if they time but they will rely on someone to get their work done.
To conclude, although this trend may bring certain disadvantages, I firmly believe that it is largely beneficial owning it's impact on making parenting easier and generating income for workers.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed both parts of the prompt: the economic benefits of hiring help and the personal implications of doing chores oneself. Your position is clear throughout the essay. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention that hiring help boosts the economy, the explanation is slightly underdeveloped and repetitive. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting arguments are more thoroughly explored with specific, logical steps. The conclusion is a bit brief; try to summarize your main points more effectively to reinforce your stance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'To commence with,' 'Furthermore,' and 'Nevertheless,' which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is slightly disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'By this all help from the helpers parents don't have to worry.' Improving the variety of your linking words and ensuring that referencing (e.g., 'this trend') is always precise will help improve the overall cohesion of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'contemporary society,' 'prevalence,' and 'nutritious cuisines.' However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'make nutritious cuisines' (prepare nutritious meals) and 'do other stuff of the house' (perform household chores). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit your score. To improve, focus on learning natural collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary rather than informal phrases like 'stuff' or 'get their work done.'
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('a research of Oxford university'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence fragments ('when people will they will spend'). Additionally, there are punctuation issues, such as missing commas in complex sentences. While these errors rarely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed with correct syntax.
