Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, we have various options for getting help from someone if something we do not want to do. It is sometime possible to pay someone to do work or activity that you do not want to do, or not getting time to do such as household chores or take care of child. I think Its good way of giving work to others. Also, believes that individuals should do things by themselves. There are some reason i think than people should do whatever they can do by themselves which will be discussed in forth coming paragraphs.

To begin with, in today's era, most of the individuals are busy with their hectic work. So, people think if they can hire someone and let them do things. What is more, that's why many individuals hire maid for house chores so they do not need to do and they can save time to do other thing. For instance, a recent survey by labor board of Toronto has revealed that in Toronto majority of household hire person for doing their house work and for their kids. Therefore, many human being are getting jobs as well

On the flip side, sometime i think that people should do their house chores or looking after their little one by their own. Reason is that some time you do not know how's the person is which you hire. Moreover, that person will not do work how it supposed to be done. To illustrate, sometime that person will not take care of things in our house which is way we do. They are not giving proper food or attention to our children required.

To wrap up with discussion, i believe that forceable future individuals will make effort to do whatever they can to take care of their children. For housing chores they can hire someone to do even if they will not do proper job we can compromise but for take care of our child we cannot take risk.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work for others and the necessity of performing tasks personally. However, the development is somewhat superficial. While you mention that hiring help creates jobs and saves time, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. The reference to a 'labor board of Toronto' is a good attempt at support, but the explanation of why people should do things themselves is repetitive and lacks a strong, logical conclusion. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended with clear reasoning rather than just stating opinions.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'To wrap up with discussion' is non-standard, and the transition between ideas within paragraphs is sometimes abrupt. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the connection between hiring help and the benefits for the household is not smoothly linked. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help the flow of your writing significantly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite repetitive and lacks precision. You frequently use basic phrases like 'do things' or 'do work' instead of more specific alternatives. There are also some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'forceable future' (likely meaning 'foreseeable future') and 'how's the person is'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and you struggle to use less common items effectively. Focusing on topic-specific collocations would improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('majority of household hire'), missing articles, and awkward phrasing ('not getting time to do such as household chores'). While the meaning is usually understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic errors like pluralisation and verb tense consistency to improve your accuracy.
