Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, people are more busy in their daily life they are not able to give their 100% percent to the professional and family life at that times it is possible to hire somebody to do the works. In my opinion it is a good way of providing the work for others by paying them which helps us to do our work and also provide others a job which helps to feed their family.
For example, My mom hired a woman to do all household works and she is uneducated but she is very skilled at household chores. As she is uneducated she couldn't find a job so she started doing household chores for different families and helping her family and children by providing education. So, that is why I believe hiring someone to do our work can make living for other families.
Due to advancements in technology there are lot of apps have been designed to hire people for any kind of work .For example, there is an app called urban clap in which you can hire people to do any household work. They hire people who knows house hold chores irrespective of their educational background they train them and provide them a job which help them to support their family. As a result, the person is able to do find a respectable job and able to earn money to lead a happy life.
So, I believe paying money to do things you don't want to do is a very beneficial for the families who cannot find a job in this competitive world which helps them to earn some bread and butter for their family.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the benefits of providing work for others and touching upon the personal aspect of doing chores. However, the development is somewhat limited. While you provide a personal example about your mother and a general example about apps, the discussion on whether people 'should' do these things themselves is underdeveloped. You focus heavily on the economic benefits for the worker but neglect to explore the potential downsides or personal responsibilities of the individual hiring the help. To reach a higher band, ensure you balance both sides of the argument more thoroughly and provide a more nuanced exploration of the ethical or personal implications of outsourcing daily tasks.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'For example' and 'As a result', to link ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the transition between the two main questions could be smoother. Some referencing is slightly repetitive, and the logical progression within paragraphs could be strengthened by using a wider variety of linking words to show contrast or addition more effectively. Overall, the structure is coherent, but the use of cohesive devices lacks the flexibility required for a higher band.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'household chores' and 'educational background'. However, the range is somewhat limited and repetitive, particularly with phrases like 'do our work' and 'help them'. There are also some minor inaccuracies in collocation and word choice, such as 'make living for other families' (should be 'make a living') and 'earn some bread and butter' (which is an idiom used slightly awkwardly here). To improve, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary and avoid over-reliance on simple, repetitive phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('there are lot of apps have been designed') and punctuation (missing spaces after commas, run-on sentences). Some sentences are fragmented or lack necessary articles, such as 'at that times it is possible'. These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not completely impede communication. To achieve a higher score, focus on improving your control over basic sentence construction and ensuring consistent subject-verb agreement throughout your writing.
