Student answer (Band 6.5)
In contemporary society, seeking domestic help from outside to complete some household chores has become an important area of discussion. This trend is primarily driven by creating extra employment in the market, and I consider it not be always necessary by work themselves.
Regarding the first question, the main reason why it is beneficial because this would help to increase an employment in the market by giving opportunity to others who suffer from unemployment due to lack of education and experience. Primararly this includes jobs such as babysitting, cleaning, gardening or cooks. As a result, this provide support to the local community and increase the demands for individual who have limited knowledge of the outside world. It has been widely seen in India, where lack of education is rising among lower class society, and offering these kinds of jobs by busy working couples give them a chance to work. Therefore, each family who earns well can create job for the needy people.
Turning to the second question, it is not always mandatory to look after each task in the house. This is because due to the inflation and increasing cost of living, people work extra to earn money. As a result, they get a limited time for themselves to complete all the household chores, which could impact their health overall. This gives benefit to them to pay extra to do their work on behalf of them, while they can focus on their professional career. However, people should still handle basic responsibilities themselves when possible, especially caring for their own children. For instance, parents can hire childcare during working hours but remain accountable for their children's upbringing to teach them family values and human morals.
To sum up, it is ideal to seek help from outside to finish some household chores because it creates an employment for people who struggle to get a job. Furthermore, I firmly believe that it is not required to look after an entire house tasks, but people should spare some time to perform basic duties such as childcare.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing employment and the necessity of doing chores oneself. The position is clear throughout. The ideas are relevant, particularly the discussion on economic necessity and the balance between professional life and parental responsibility. However, some arguments could be more deeply developed; for instance, the link between hiring help and 'family values' is mentioned but could be expanded with more specific reasoning. Overall, the response is well-structured and covers all requirements of the task effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two main questions. Cohesive devices such as 'Regarding the first question', 'Turning to the second question', and 'To sum up' are used to guide the reader. While some transitions are slightly mechanical, the progression of ideas is clear. Referencing is generally accurate, though there are minor instances where the flow could be improved by varying the sentence structure more effectively.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is sufficient to convey the intended meaning clearly. There is an attempt to use topic-specific language such as 'contemporary society', 'domestic help', and 'accountable'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'create job for the needy people' (should be 'create jobs') and 'look after each task' (should be 'perform each task'). While these errors do not impede communication, they prevent the response from reaching a higher band. A wider range of less common lexical items would further enhance the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'I consider it not be always necessary by work themselves' (should be 'not always necessary to do the work themselves') and 'this provide support' (subject-verb agreement error). Additionally, there are minor issues with articles and prepositions. Despite these errors, the meaning is consistently clear, and the complexity of the sentences demonstrates an attempt to use a variety of structures. The errors are frequent but do not significantly impede communication.
