Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays people have hectic schedule in their life due to increase in technology. Sometimes people are paying others for doing their chores or taking care of children. However, some are doing their work by their own. This statement have some pros and cons that i will explain in the upcoming paragraphs and give some some relevant reasons and examples.
To begin with, as nowadays, nobody have so much time for doing their work by own due to hectic schedule so they pay somebody to their work. However, this have some advantages like people can save their time, they do not take any unusual stress regarding their working chores at home . I explain this with an example, if a individual working 6 days of working 8 hours then do not have enough time or something he is facing some tiredness from work, so it is better option to hire somebody for doing your household work, this will give you extra time to spend with your family.
On the other hand, some people are doing their work by own because sometimes they have safety concern about the person who is hired for working for them ,like he or she do not harm my children or family members or sometimes they concern about their privacy or they have fear to steal something by these workers. Moreover, one more reason is that some people are well disciplined and they are happy to do their chores by their own , also they are enjoying this , even they have busy schedule.
To conclude this, some people are not doing their chores because they do not have so much time to do so and some are doing their work by own because they have some concern about their safety and privacy. I think that doing things by own is good thing because this help you build some skills and you are not dependent on others.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: whether it is a good way to provide work and whether people should do these things themselves. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument regarding 'providing work' is mentioned but not fully explored in terms of economic or social impact. The position is clear, but the supporting points, such as the mention of 'safety concerns' or 'discipline,' could be expanded with more sophisticated reasoning to reach a higher band. The conclusion introduces a new point about building skills, which is a good addition but would have been better integrated into the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with,' 'On the other hand,' and 'To conclude this.' However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive. There are also issues with referencing and flow; for example, the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph is slightly abrupt. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the internal structure of sentences occasionally hinders the smooth flow of information, making the text feel slightly disjointed in places.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There is a reliance on basic terms like 'work,' 'do,' and 'things.' Phrases such as 'hectic schedule' and 'household work' are used correctly but are quite common. There are some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'doing their work by their own' (should be 'doing their work themselves') and 'unusual stress' (which is slightly unnatural in this context). To improve, you should aim for more precise collocations and a wider range of academic vocabulary to express complex ideas.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('This statement have'), article usage ('a individual'), and awkward phrasing ('if a individual working 6 days of working 8 hours'). While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring consistent verb tense usage throughout your writing.
