Student answer (Band 6.0)

Nowadays, many people pay for the work because they do not want to perform or do not have sufficient time. I think this approach can help more people getting employment; however, there are many downsides of it. Both the views are elaborated in the ensuing paragraphs.

The foremost reason is that this can help more individuals to get job and earn more money for themselves. It is a fact that in this day and age, many professionals have a few time to manage their workloads; therefore, distributing their part of work to the other qualified person not only relieves their stress but also help other candidates to earn for their survival. Moreover, this would help decreasing the unemployment rate all around the globe as more and more individuals are getting hired and ultimately helps developing the economy.

However, we should not overlook detriments associated with this, as some people can not be trusted with specific personal work, for instance, looking after ones children or for household works when no body is around. As, these kind of work involves personal risk and could have negative outcome if are done by employ having criminal background. Another reason that all should do their tasks by their own is that giving work, which may help you to become good at certain skill, to others can have effect on ones future career. Hence, I think working personalities should pick tasks by themselves and should not rely on others for their work.

All in all, although allotment of certain activities helps many people; whereas, it is better to do some work by ourselves to not get into some future troubles.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the economic benefits of outsourcing tasks and the personal implications of doing so. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'personal risk' is relevant but could be better supported with more specific examples or deeper analysis. The ideas are generally relevant, but the explanation of how outsourcing affects one's 'future career' is a bit vague. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand on your points with more detailed reasoning or illustrative examples, ensuring that every claim is fully explored rather than just stated.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a progression of ideas from the benefits to the drawbacks. You use some cohesive devices such as 'The foremost reason', 'Moreover', and 'However', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as 'All in all, although allotment of certain activities helps many people; whereas, it is better to do some work by ourselves'. The use of 'whereas' here is grammatically incorrect and disrupts the flow. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your meaning, such as 'unemployment rate', 'detriments', and 'allotment'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors. For example, 'have a few time' should be 'have little time', and 'working personalities' is not a natural collocation. Additionally, 'helps developing the economy' should be 'helps to develop the economy'. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your points, they indicate a need for more attention to natural word combinations and collocations to reach a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'help more people getting employment' (should be 'to get'), 'distributing their part of work to the other qualified person' (should be 'others'), and 'do their tasks by their own' (should be 'on their own'). There are also issues with article usage and subject-verb agreement, such as 'if are done by employ having criminal background'. These errors are noticeable but do not impede communication. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence patterns and checking for subject-verb agreement.
