Student answer (Band 6.0)

Across the world, its getting popular to pay somebody to do things that we don not want to do or sometimes we do not have time to do. according to me it is good way of sharing work as we are not able to complete all the tasks in whole day. I will share my view points in upcoming paragraphs.

In my opinion, nowadays everyone is getting too busy and they are not able to balance their work life balance. for which they are finding substitute to complete other task such as cleaning, cooking and for looking after children. for me it is a good practice, because its good to do work rather than it is not completed. for example, people who are doing government jobs like army or police they do not have enough time for their childern to concentrate on their studies and life so they a caregiver who take care of them and provide them eveything.by this children are getting proper attention and things they need otherwise they can feel avoided and neglected which can affect them mentally. they are getting eveything time to time and saving time of their parents.

in addition to it, people are getting jobs because of it as household work are mostly done by housekeepers nowadays and they are getting good money for it. they are able to run thier household with that money. they are not well educated to find any other job so they do these kind of jobs like cleaning, cooking, painting etc. for example, 50% people are getting job because of this culture now. there are several companies opened now to provide caregivers professionally with proper details.

in conclusion, by paying somebody else for household works is supporting unemployement and making everyone life easy ion this fast paced life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work for others and the question of whether people should perform these tasks themselves. However, the development is somewhat superficial. While you mention that hiring help supports employment and aids busy parents, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. The position is clear, but the reasoning is repetitive, particularly regarding the benefits for children and the economic impact. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the potential downsides of outsourcing personal responsibilities, such as the loss of family bonding or the development of life skills, to provide a more balanced and thorough discussion.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a central theme. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive. For instance, the transition 'in addition to it' is used, but the flow between sentences within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'for which they are finding substitute', where the connection to the previous clause is weak. Paragraphing is present, but the overall progression of ideas could be smoother if you used a wider variety of linking words and ensured that each sentence logically follows the one before it.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'good way', 'good practice', and 'good money', which are repetitive. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'childern', 'eveything', 'thier', and 'unemployement'. While the meaning is clear, the lack of sophisticated vocabulary and the presence of spelling mistakes limit the score. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific collocations and ensure that you proofread your work to catch simple spelling errors that detract from the professional tone of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include missing articles ('do these kind of jobs'), subject-verb agreement errors ('household work are'), and punctuation mistakes, such as the lack of capitalization at the start of sentences and after periods. The sentence 'for which they are finding substitute to complete other task' is grammatically awkward. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and punctuation prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for small errors.
