Student answer (Band 6.0)

Nowadays, more and more people don't want to do their own work and they are hiring people who can do their work. To some extend people says they don't have time to complete their essential work other are arguing that people should have to to their own work by themselves. I personally thinks that for some jobs like chores and household work where we can hire someone to do but for looking after children is their parents duty. In this essay we will discuss about this topics.

Initially, for work like household chores and cleaning type of stuff we should do it by ourselves that also helps to maintain our physique. For example, in India treditionally woman are doing this type of work tipically that help them to exercise in exchange they don't have to go to gym. But, you don't have time like you have two jobs and you are keep juggling through those jobs I highly recommend to hire someone for this easy work.

On the other side, For your children their parents should have to take care of them. There is one main reason behind it and that reason is the behavior of the childern. If you put your children in froster home or you hired somebody to look after them than it can affect the upbringing of them. For instance, I heard the incident where due to bad upbringing the chid choose the wrong path and became heinous criminal.

To conclude, I totally say that if you want to maintain your health you should do some besic household work but every person has different situation in their life and some don't have time so they can pay someone to do it. But, for your children's future you should raise them they deserve that love.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: whether paying for services provides work for others and whether people should perform these tasks themselves. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While the point about household chores is supported by a personal example, the argument regarding childcare is somewhat underdeveloped and relies on a sweeping generalization about 'bad upbringing' leading to criminality. The position is clear throughout, but the essay would benefit from more nuanced reasoning regarding the economic implications of hiring help versus the personal benefits of doing tasks oneself.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Initially', 'On the other side', and 'To conclude', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'In this essay we will discuss about this topics'. Referencing is generally clear, though some sentences lack smooth flow, making the progression of ideas feel a bit disjointed at times. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different aspects of the prompt.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks range and precision. There are frequent spelling errors ('treditionally', 'tipically', 'froster', 'chid', 'besic') and some awkward collocations, such as 'cleaning type of stuff' and 'heinous criminal'. While the meaning is generally clear, the student relies on basic, repetitive language. To reach a higher band, the student should aim for more sophisticated vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'outsourcing', 'domestic responsibilities', or 'developmental impact', and focus on improving spelling accuracy.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('people says', 'the chid choose'), incorrect verb tenses, and awkward phrasing ('you are keep juggling'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. The student needs to focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading to ensure subject-verb agreement and correct tense usage.
