Student answer (Band 6.0)
Definitely, it is possible to hire someone who can do the things we do not like to do, or if we do not have time to the some chores for example, some house work or take care of youngsters there are several reasons for this as mentioned:
Firstly, giving work to the people is necessary in this busy scenario. Nowadays everyone is busy in their day to day work like, they do not have time to do their housework. For instance, in a family both mother and father are working to manage their expense and they do not have time to look after their child then they can hire someone who has enough experience to take care of a child. There are many people specially senior citizen who are less educated and find difficulty to do other job but they have experience in these thing and they are good to do house chores and childcare with their own experience. Then this will be great opportunity to earn money from these kind of job. It will also improve their confidence and motivate them to do some work and also they will not depend on their family member for their expense.
Other thing is that, paying somebody to do things does not means we should never do our own work. Everyone should learn how to manage both thing. Something there are some critical conditions when we have to do our works by ourself. For example, if the person we hired is not feeling well or if he/she went on vacation then we have to do our work then it's necessary that we know how to do.
In conclusion, we must know how to do our own things but this is good if we pay someone to do our house chores if we are working and we do not have time to do so.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work for others and the necessity of personal responsibility. The ideas are relevant, such as the economic benefit for senior citizens and the practical need for self-reliance in emergencies. However, the development is somewhat limited. The argument regarding senior citizens is a good point, but it could be expanded with more specific examples or deeper analysis of the societal impact. The conclusion is a bit brief and could better synthesize the two sides of the argument. Overall, the position is clear, but the depth of exploration is consistent with a mid-range band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. The use of cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'For instance', and 'In conclusion' helps the reader follow the argument. However, some transitions are a bit mechanical or repetitive, such as 'Other thing is that'. The referencing is generally clear, though the flow between sentences within paragraphs could be smoother to achieve a higher level of cohesion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two main points of the prompt.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There is some repetition of basic terms like 'work', 'do', and 'time'. Phrases such as 'busy scenario' and 'manage their expense' are slightly unnatural. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'house chores' and 'childcare', the range is limited. To improve, the student should focus on using more sophisticated synonyms and collocations to express ideas more precisely rather than relying on simple, high-frequency words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'does not means' (should be 'mean'), 'do our works by ourself' (should be 'do our work ourselves'), and 'if he/she went on vacation' (tense inconsistency). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some run-on sentences and minor errors in article usage. While these errors do not significantly impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. A greater focus on subject-verb agreement and pluralization would be beneficial.
