Student answer (Band 6.0)
Living in the modren era, everyone is too busy to manage one's schedule. To manage their household responsibilities, they hire and pay someone to look after their children or do the cleaning jobs at their place because they are too busy or prefer not to do it themselves.
On the one hand, it is very common for working individuals to hire someone to look after their house and children. In recent years, it has been observed by many that it is near to impossible for some working professionals to maintain balance in their personal and professional life. It is for this reason they look for service where someone who can help them to manage their household work or children at home when they are working. I have seen in Canada, people pay to childcare to look after one's child. There is no harm in paying for such services if it is giving you some leisure time.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you address both parts of the prompt—discussing the benefits of hiring help and the personal choice of doing tasks oneself—the essay is incomplete and ends abruptly mid-sentence. The arguments are introduced but lack the depth and supporting evidence required for a higher band. To improve, you must ensure you fully develop your points with specific examples and reach the required length to demonstrate your ability to sustain an argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a basic attempt at logical progression using transition signals like 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand'. However, the abrupt ending disrupts the overall flow and coherence of the piece. The use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'it is for this reason they look for service'. To improve, focus on ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that ideas are linked more fluidly throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision expected at higher bands. You rely on somewhat repetitive and simple phrasing, such as 'do this work' and 'manage their household work'. There are also minor errors in word choice, such as 'pay to childcare' instead of 'pay for childcare'. To achieve a higher score, try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to work-life balance and domestic responsibilities.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as 'living in the modren era' (spelling), 'working professional find its hard' (subject-verb agreement), and 'many people stated working' (likely meant 'started'). These errors do not completely impede communication, but they are frequent enough to affect the overall quality. You should focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and spelling to improve your accuracy.
