Student answer (Band 6.0)
In some situations, when someone is unable to do something or if they don't have time to do some important tasks , they need to hire someone to do the tasks like home chores or to look after their kids. It is also a way of providing employment to the people who are unemployed. But in my opinion, people should do these things themselves.
On one side, It is a good way to give people job so that they can also earn money for their families. In addition, it also helps the professionals especially in a way that if they are too busy in their jobs and they don't have time to do home chores or if they couldn't look after their kids, they could hire someone to make their life a bit easy. For example, Doctors have a very tough duty schedule of days and nights and if both partners are doctor and they don't have time to see their baby . They could hire someone to do it on their behalf and the hired person can also earn some money.
On the other hand, I believe that people should do their important things themselves like , one should look after his kid on his own instead of believing another person. And by proper management it can be made possible for example, people can do alternate shifts if both partners are working to look after their children.
In conclusion, some people use to pay another person to do some important tasks like home chores and looking after children on their behalf. It could open the doors of employment for others . But in my opinion people should try to do their own tasks themselves.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing employment and the personal responsibility of performing tasks. However, the development is somewhat limited. While you mention that hiring help provides employment, the argument could be extended by discussing the economic impact or the quality of service. Similarly, the argument for doing things oneself is a bit brief and relies on a single example of shift work. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph provides more depth, perhaps by discussing the psychological benefits of parenting or the social implications of outsourcing domestic labor.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use basic cohesive devices like 'In addition', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' to signal shifts in your ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing could be more sophisticated. For instance, the transition between the benefits of hiring help and the counter-argument about personal responsibility could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one will enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'unemployed', 'professionals', and 'employment'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there is some repetition of phrases such as 'do these things themselves' and 'do their own tasks'. To improve, try to incorporate more varied synonyms and collocations related to the topic, such as 'outsourcing domestic responsibilities' or 'nurturing child development', which would demonstrate a higher level of lexical control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as 'if both partners are doctor' (should be 'doctors') and 'if they don't have time to see their baby' (fragment). Additionally, there are issues with punctuation, specifically the placement of commas before conjunctions and after introductory phrases. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and ensure that your complex sentences are punctuated correctly to avoid fragments and run-on sentences.
