Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays, It is becoming increasingly common for people to pay others to do tasks that they do not want to do or do not have enough time foe, such as cleaning the house, cooking meals, or looking after children. although this can create valuable employment opportunities, i believe people should still perform some of these responsibilities themselves.
On the one hand, paying someone to carry out household tasks can be beneficial to society. Most importantly, it provides employment for people who may not have many other job opportunities. For example, domestic workers can earn a stable income by cleaning houses or taking care of children. In addition, hiring someone can save a considerable amount of time for busy individuals. People who work long hours may prefers to employ a cleaner or a babysitter so that they can concentrate on their families. Therefore, this arrangement can benefit both employers and workers.
On the other hand, I do not think people should completely avoid doing household tasks themselves. Some responsibilities, particularly raising children, require emotional involvement rather than simply practical assistance. Parents who spend time cooking with their children helping them with homework, or doing household activities together can develop stronger relationships with them. Similarly, doing basic chores independently can teach people important skills and make them more responsible.
In my view, the best approach is to find a balance. people can pay others to deal with time-consuming tasks, especially when they have demanding jobs, but they should continue to take responsibility for important family matters.
In conclusion, hiring people to perform unwanted tasks is a useful way of creating jobs and saving time. However, individuals should not rely on others for everything, as doing some responsibilities themselves has important personal and family benefits.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed all parts of the prompt, providing a clear position on both the economic benefits of hiring help and the personal necessity of performing certain tasks oneself. Your ideas are relevant and well-supported, particularly the distinction between practical chores and the emotional requirements of child-rearing. To reach a higher band, you could further extend your arguments by exploring the potential negative impacts of outsourcing, such as the risk of social inequality or the loss of personal autonomy, which would add more depth to your analysis.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear progression of ideas. Each paragraph has a central theme, and you use cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'In addition', and 'Therefore' effectively to link your points. The paragraphing is appropriate, and the transition between the benefits of hiring help and the importance of personal responsibility is smooth. To improve, ensure that your referencing is always precise and try to vary your cohesive devices slightly more to avoid a somewhat formulaic structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'employment opportunities', 'emotional involvement', and 'time-consuming'. Your word choice is generally accurate and conveys your meaning clearly. However, there are some minor errors in word form or spelling, such as 'foe' instead of 'for' and 'prefers' instead of 'prefer'. To achieve a higher score, incorporate more sophisticated collocations and less common lexical items to show greater precision and flexibility in your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, and your meaning is consistently clear. There are some punctuation and capitalization errors, such as 'Nowadays, It' and 'although this can create... i believe', which suggest a lack of attention to detail. While you demonstrate control over complex structures, there are occasional slips in subject-verb agreement and capitalization that prevent the writing from being error-free. Focusing on proofreading for these minor mechanical errors will help improve your score.
