Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this sophisticated era, individuals have a hectic schedule and do not have enough time to take care of kids and do all the household work by themselves. In my opinion, This scenario has both positives and negatives that I want to explain in further paragraphs.
On the one hand, There are some points in the favour of hiring someone to do these tasks. It helps them people who are working longer hours such as doctors, nurses ,remote workers and construction workers. They do not have enough time for their kids as well as home duties. As a result, it helps society by creating employment opportunities who are less educated and less experienced. Moreover, If the children are at home due to their summer break or other holidays these workers are really a good support for parents. They do not need to worry about kids at work because children not feel bored at home alone. They feel secure and safe because there is someone at home to keep an eye on them. For example, these days we can see that most of the kids suffering from ADHD, Autism and other disabilities. Parents cannot leave them alone at home because they need more emotional support during meltdowns. That is why, these workers helpful for families to support .
On the other hand, Due to the crimes and inflation it is really hard to trust on someone these days. Some people are just running to chase a money and never wants to take of kids when parents are away. We hear so many cases like how workers harass kids at home .so parents should have to hire persons who has the criminal record check certificates and Specialised in home work or kids.
In conclusion, Although there are some advantages of hiring others for work at home but there are some demerits to such as not getting attention like parents does for kids, less trustworthy people.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work for others and the question of whether people should perform these tasks themselves. The position is clear, though the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The argument regarding employment opportunities is relevant, but the discussion on whether people should do these things themselves is less developed, relying heavily on the issue of trust rather than the personal or developmental benefits of self-reliance. To improve, you should provide more balanced exploration of the personal responsibility aspect, perhaps discussing the importance of family bonding or the development of life skills, which would add depth to your argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as the repetitive use of 'these' to start sentences or the phrasing 'On the one hand/On the other hand' which feels a bit formulaic. Referencing is generally clear, but some transitions between sentences within paragraphs could be smoother to improve the flow. The conclusion is a bit abrupt and does not fully synthesize the points made in the body paragraphs, which limits the overall coherence of the piece.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'sophisticated era', 'employment opportunities', and 'emotional support'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'running to chase a money' (chasing money) and 'never wants to take of kids' (take care of). Additionally, the phrase 'these workers helpful for families to support' is grammatically and lexically incomplete. To reach a higher band, focus on more precise collocations and ensure that your vocabulary is used accurately within the context of the sentence.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's flow. Examples include missing articles ('at home', 'at work'), subject-verb agreement issues ('kids suffering', 'workers helpful'), and punctuation errors, such as the lack of spaces after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly regarding pluralization, article usage, and sentence-level punctuation.
