Student answer (Band 6.0)
In modern society, people are increasingly hiring others such as housekeepers or babysitters to carry out tasks which either they dislike or they do not have time because of their busy schedules. While I believe that this practice creates job opportunities, individuals should still undertake certain responsibilities themselves, particularly when family involvement and personal development are concerned
First and the foremost part of this statement is employment. When parents hire nannies or domestic helpers to assist them with their children and household tasks, it opened up a lot of opportunities for people who need jobs to earn a living. For example, paying a salary to a household workers for hours worked in the house. Secondly, young mothers and fathers who are working on their goals can focus more without having to worry about their children or household responsibilities.
Nevertheless , it is still inappropriate for the landlord to be not able to provide enough quality time to a child who is being cared by a caregiver. The reason behind this is that a child in his developmental stage needs both his parents to build their relationship. Moreover, overly dependent on paid services creates expenses which can be avoided if they have spare time to spend with their family.
In conclusion, one can always get paid assist for day-to- day chores of a household. Which helps many families in need of jobs and income. However, this practice can also cost more than money by weakening the bond between a kid and his guardians.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work and the necessity of personal involvement. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention job creation and personal focus, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. For instance, the point about 'young mothers and fathers' is a good start but could be expanded with more detail on the societal impact. The conclusion is clear, but the overall response feels brief, bordering on under-developed in terms of supporting evidence. To reach a higher band, ensure each main point is fully explored with a clear example or explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use basic cohesive devices like 'First and the foremost', 'Secondly', and 'Nevertheless' to signal transitions. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or grammatically awkward, such as 'First and the foremost part of this statement is employment'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'Which' at the start of a sentence in the conclusion, which is a sentence fragment. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will help the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'domestic helpers', 'developmental stage', and 'guardians'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'landlord' (which refers to a property owner, not a parent) and 'paid assist' (which should be 'paid assistance'). To improve, focus on using more precise terminology and ensuring that words are used in their correct context. The range is sufficient for a 6.0, but lacks the flexibility required for higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors that occur throughout the text, such as 'it opened up' (tense inconsistency), 'overly dependent on paid services creates' (subject-verb agreement), and 'a child who is being cared by a caregiver' (missing 'for'). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they are frequent enough to impact the overall fluency. To improve, pay closer attention to verb tenses, prepositions, and subject-verb agreement during your proofreading process.
