Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years, managing work-life balance has made it difficult to handle every task of life, but many are handling their work to other by paying them. The issue of paying someone to do things you do not want to or if you are not available is frequently discussed in modern society. I believe this is good way of doing work on time with no worries.
Addressing the first issue, it is a good way of providing work for other people. Busy schedule of individuals made it challenging to handle every work. consequently, a number of people are hiring other to complete the work on behalf of them. However, It create jobs opportunities. For instance, a maid who looks after children and cook whenever parents are outside for work is very common in society. It reduces the stress and is also a good way of developing community.
Turning to the second aspect, people should do these things themselves when it is possible for them or incase where they are capable of doing it. Moreover, if anyone does not know how the work is done they can hire a professional for classes and later they can do it by self. People who are working or doing a job should arrange anyone to look after their home or any essential thing.
In conclusion, it is an effective way of making work-life balance easier and it also creates jobs in the society. However, anyone capable of handling these tasks should do work themselves and it is a bad investment. From my perspective, a better way is handling work to other if someone is not able of doing it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work for others and the question of whether people should perform these tasks themselves. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention job creation and stress reduction, the arguments remain at a surface level. The position is generally clear, but the conclusion contains a slight contradiction by stating that doing it yourself is a 'bad investment' while simultaneously arguing that people should do it themselves if capable. To improve, ensure your supporting points are fully extended with more detailed explanations or specific examples to demonstrate a deeper engagement with the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Addressing the first issue', 'Turning to the second aspect', and 'In conclusion' to signal the structure. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel abrupt. For instance, the jump from discussing job opportunities to 'developing community' lacks a clear logical link. Additionally, the use of referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'handling their work to other'. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows naturally from the previous one will help achieve a higher band score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'work-life balance', 'hiring', and 'professional'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'handling their work to other' (instead of 'delegating tasks to others') and 'do it by self' (instead of 'do it themselves'). The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive. To improve, try to incorporate more precise collocations and a wider variety of synonyms to avoid repeating basic verbs like 'do' and 'handle'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Busy schedule of individuals made it challenging'), article usage ('a maid', 'the society'), and prepositional errors ('handling work to other'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are noticeable and occur frequently. To reach a higher band, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, particularly pluralization and the correct use of articles, and ensure that your complex sentences are punctuated correctly to avoid run-on structures.
