Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, due to hectic lifestyle of individuals, most people do not have time to do their household chores or looking after children. Although it is helpful for needy people to earn money and have job opportunity, I believe that people should do their household chores and taking care of children themselves and I will discuss these points in upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, with advancement in technology, some people prefer to have maid to cook their food and looking after their children. To enhance it, nowadays, everything is expensive such as grocery, clothing and all expenses through which people do 2 jobs to save some money and also upgrade their status. As a result, to save time, people like to pay somebody to do all thing.
On the other hand, I believe that people should so the things themselves as it makes their life happy and have more privacy in their house. To expand it, some people balance their work-life through which it not gives quality to spend with family but also their children can attach emotionally with them and learn about small household chores as their parents do. For example, in many countries, people prefer to cook their meals themselves and also do work but save money to not spend on maids through which they are physically and mentally well-being as they know about their family needs and also some partner contribute equal work so thaty they do not feel burden on their daily basis. Hence, it helps in making the strong bond within the family and also helps in growth and development of their life.
In conclusion, some people prefer to pay someone to do their household chores and also take care of their children. While it create job opportunity for some people so that they earn good money, I believe that individuals should do their household work and take care of their children themselves as it makes their life happy and makes the strong bond and have some privacy in their life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing work for others and the argument for doing tasks oneself. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument regarding 'privacy' and 'emotional attachment' is mentioned but not fully explored with specific, convincing examples. The discussion on the economic benefits of hiring help is also quite brief. To reach a higher band, you should provide more detailed explanations and perhaps a more nuanced view on how these two perspectives can coexist or be balanced in modern society.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'To enhance it' or 'To expand it', which do not function naturally as cohesive links. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences within paragraphs could be smoother. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will help your ideas connect more fluidly.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some relevant topic-specific terms like 'household chores', 'job opportunity', and 'work-life balance'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'do all thing' (should be 'everything'), 'not gives quality' (should be 'does not provide quality time'), and 'physically and mentally well-being' (should be 'physical and mental well-being'). The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, and more precise, academic synonyms would enhance the sophistication of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'it create job opportunity'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'people should so the things'), and missing articles or prepositions. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points, they are persistent throughout the text. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with verb tenses and pluralization, and try to incorporate more varied complex sentence structures with greater precision.
