Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays, due to busy schedules or increasing laziness, some people are opting for taking domestic help from other and in return paying them incentives for their job. Personally, I think this is a good trend because one party can be free from their heavy workload while other party can enjoy the monetary aspect of it.
To begin with, job market has became extremely saturated compared to the past and because of that many people are forced to be unemployed. However, people who are employed with extremely rigid schedules are finding ways to manage their life by hiring the people for completing their household chores such as cooking, cleaning and babysitting. For example, this trend is quiet popular in the afluent families where they offer certain amount of money to get their work done.
Furthermore, I consider this way of job distribution to be fair and beneficial for both parties. This is because on one hand it helps in distributing the workload between people and mitigate the stress created by the heavy work burden and on the other hand it has provided a source of income for the needy member of the society. However, in some cases such arrangement can bring few issues such as encouraging laziness, exploitation of labour and feeling disconnected with the children as they have been looked after by the caregiver most of the time.
In conclusion, taking help from the people who needs work and offering them financial aids in return seems to be a great way of tackling two different problems. Therefore, I support this arrangement and think people can take as much help they need or desire as long as they maintain a balance.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: whether it is a good way to provide work and whether people should do these things themselves. You maintain a clear position throughout, supporting the idea that it is a mutually beneficial arrangement. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the discussion on the potential downsides, such as 'feeling disconnected with the children,' is mentioned but not fully explored or balanced against your main argument. To reach a higher band, ensure that all points raised are supported with more detailed reasoning or specific examples to demonstrate a deeper engagement with the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'Furthermore,' and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader through your argument. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. For example, the transition from discussing the benefits of job creation to the potential drawbacks in the third paragraph is a bit abrupt. Improving the variety of cohesive devices and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'saturated,' 'affluent,' and 'mitigate' correctly. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'taking domestic help from other' (should be 'others') and 'incentives for their job' (which usually refers to bonuses rather than wages). Additionally, 'afluent' is misspelled. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensure that your vocabulary is consistently accurate. While you attempt to use less common items, some errors in word formation and spelling prevent the vocabulary from being considered sophisticated.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is appropriate for this level. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'job market has became' (should be 'has become'), 'hiring the people' (should be 'hiring people'), and 'people who needs work' (should be 'need'). These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable but do not impede communication. To achieve a higher band, you should aim for more error-free sentences and pay closer attention to subject-verb agreement and article usage. Increasing the variety of complex structures while maintaining accuracy will also help boost your score.
