Student answer (Band 5.0)

Paying others is good because it creates jobs, but people should do some basic tasks themselves.

I believe that provider some small Opportunities to needy people, it is the good way to give the employement, about that work which people don't want to do . It is help to other people to get the money they people who want some work like as a garden they can earn good money while take care of plants. For example, In most of the countries people have special people for just garden we called the gardeners, they make enough money . Second example , Cleaner and baby sitter they individauls who are not good education they can work as a cleaners and babbysitter and they can manage their own expence. . The people who are busy in their life and afford the help from others ,they can get more time like couple.

However, household are basic responsibilities. People can save their money and they can invest that money somewhere else.Parents should spend time looking after their children because children need care and attention. Example,People can cook, clean their rooms and do laundry themselves instead of paying someone every time. Which help to build the strong relationship between the parents and children.

Conclusion, paying people to do unwanted tasks is a good way to create jobs, but people should still handle basic responsibilities themselves, especially when they have enough time.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the economic benefits of outsourcing tasks and the personal value of handling responsibilities. However, the development is limited by the brevity of the response, which falls short of the 250-word requirement. The ideas are relevant but lack depth; for instance, the argument regarding 'strong relationships' between parents and children is mentioned but not fully explored. Additionally, the response is slightly under-length, which impacts the overall development of the arguments. To improve, you should expand on your examples and provide more detailed reasoning for your claims.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally repetitive. For example, the transition 'Second example' is abrupt, and the referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'It is help to other people to get the money they people who want some work'. While there is a basic progression of ideas, the flow between sentences is often hindered by grammatical errors, making the text feel disjointed in places.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward word choices and phrasing, such as 'provider some small Opportunities' instead of 'providing opportunities' and 'manage their own expence' instead of 'cover their expenses'. The range of vocabulary is limited, and there are noticeable errors in word formation and collocation that occasionally make the reader pause, though the overall meaning remains clear.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as 'It is help to other people' and 'they individauls who are not good education'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement and capitalization. Frequent errors in subject-verb agreement and article usage are present throughout the text. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common grammatical slips.
