Student answer (Band 6.5)
Sometimes people pay to others for doing some tasks that they do not like to do or have lack of time, for instance, domestic duties or take care of their kids. I believe, this is a good method of providing employment to others, although people should still handle some of their household responsibilities on their own.
To commence with, by hiring a person to do some household tasks helps busy people to save their time and focus on their other responsibilities. Additionally, it creates the employment opportunities for people who are less educated and are unable to get a job in professional field. To elaborate this, it provides the source of income to cleaners, babysitters and gardeners who cannot find a job in some fields. For example, if a working couple hire a worker to do some of their domestic chores such as cleaning, laundry or cooking, it will provide some extra time to them to spend with each other that will strengthn their bond and relation.
Moving towards the other statement, individuals can still do some basic house duties by themselves as it creates responsibility and saves money. To explain it, this teaches people how to become independent while working and children are very good observers, when they see their parents doing cleaning, cooking and some other chores they will try to learn the concept of independence. To exemplify, members of family can share the house duties that will reduce their monthly expenses.
In conclusion, hiring someone to do some domestic duties can lessen the stress of some working people that can provide some work to others also but by doing basic duties of home can save their money and teaches people how to survive by their own without depending on others.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing employment and the necessity of personal involvement in household tasks. The position is clear throughout the essay. Ideas are relevant and supported with examples, such as the mention of cleaners and gardeners, and the developmental benefits for children. However, some arguments could be extended further to reach a higher band; for instance, the discussion on 'independence' is a bit brief. Overall, the response is well-focused and covers all requirements of the task effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Each paragraph has a central topic, and the progression of ideas is easy to follow. Cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'Additionally', and 'To exemplify' are used to link ideas, although some transitions feel slightly mechanical. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two main aspects of the prompt. The referencing is generally clear, though the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of cohesive markers to avoid repetitive structures.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task and allows the writer to express their ideas clearly. There is an attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'domestic duties', 'employment opportunities', and 'independence'. However, there are some minor inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'pay to others for doing' (should be 'pay others to do') and 'strengthn their bond' (spelling error). The range is sufficient for the task, but the use of less common lexical items is limited, which prevents a higher score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is always clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'by hiring a person... helps' (subject-verb agreement issue), 'have lack of time' (should be 'lack time'), and 'survive by their own' (should be 'on their own'). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but there are some awkward phrasings that slightly hinder the natural flow. The writer shows an ability to construct complex sentences, but the frequency of minor errors keeps the score in the 6.0 range.
