Student answer (Band 6.0)

We pay fees to people on some occasion for the work we don't want to do or we have busy schedule. The work might be household works or taking care of children. Appointing agency and posting job on freelancing website for these jobs is the best way. We can save money as well if we do things by ourselves and get complete satisfaction of the work.

In the modern world, many people are busy in their daily life. The minor maintenance house works and taking care of children are carried out by local agency. They accomplish the task as assigned with in time frame. They pickup their kids from child care centers after office hours. the another way of posting job is on freelancing website, where people are ready for work on minimum pay. For example. In Canada, mostly young couples were busy throughout the week and they hire freelancing person to fix their home issues as well as they pick and drop their kids from early child care premises.

According to a few people it is also a good opportunity to do the house stuff by themselves to save money and ensure the work is done according to their wish. Being busy in the life, people manage their schedule to save money. Any work we do, try to complete in accurate way to feel satisfied. For example, In United Kingdom, the people working 8 hours shifts, can manage their schedule by swapping the shifts with colleagues. Which gives them enough time for other works as well as household stuff because people like to save money and self satisfy with their own work.

Paying charges to some people for the work, which we don't want to do or skip due to job. Hiring agents and handymen to fix the home problems. Whereas other people are self independent to handle the issue in order to save money and gain satisfaction.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: whether it is a good way to provide work and whether people should do these things themselves. However, the development is somewhat superficial. While you mention examples like Canada and the UK, the arguments remain quite general and lack depth. The conclusion is essentially a summary of the previous points rather than a synthesis of your position. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that your arguments are fully extended with logical reasoning rather than just stating facts.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or missing. For instance, the transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is abrupt. Some sentences feel disconnected, such as the final paragraph, which lacks a clear link to the preceding arguments. Improving the use of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'on the other hand') would help create a smoother flow of ideas throughout the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. You rely on simple phrases like 'do things' and 'work' repeatedly. There are some awkward collocations, such as 'minor maintenance house works' and 'self satisfy'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise terminology related to employment and household management, and ensure that your word choices are natural and contextually appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You have frequent errors with articles ('the another way', 'in United Kingdom'), subject-verb agreement, and prepositions ('busy in their daily life' instead of 'busy with'). Some sentences are fragmented or lack proper punctuation, such as 'For example. In Canada...'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to lower the score. Focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy.
