Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the competitive era, now everyone is busy in there life as they do not have time to do their household work my themself as they hire someone to do their work. This trend have both advantages and disadvantages which I will discuss in the forthcoming paragraphs.
To commence with, there are number of reasons which are supporting this trend that why it is good caretaker to do household work the first and prominent reason is that if the hire someone to do their household work as they can not only get time to pursue their hobbies but also they can get time to spend with their family members; as a result, it will put positive impact on their physical health ass well as on their mental health . Similarly, by hiring the caretakers, your grandparents gets company because you due to bust time table you can not bestow your full concentration on their health as they get proper taker care as well as they will get someone with whom they can share their feelings and thoughts. To explain it, the recent survey conducted by university of London stated that 80 senior citizens reduced their stress by sharing their feelings with caretakers.
In my opinion, I thought It is appropriate that masses hire someone to do their house chores work because by doing this, workers get job because already unemployment is more in our nation so due to this many people get job and they are able to fulfil their basic needs . On the other hand it might be put negative impact on the bonding of people with their parents because they do not able to share their feelings with their parents as they might be feel loneliness.
To conclude, despite having as negatives of this trend but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages because owing to this, individuals get time not only to do their hobbies but also get time to do rest.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the economic benefit of providing work and the personal aspect of doing chores oneself. However, the development is inconsistent. While the idea of job creation is mentioned, it is not fully explored, and the argument regarding the negative impact on family bonding is somewhat underdeveloped and lacks clarity. The position is generally clear, but the supporting arguments could be more robust and better linked to the prompt's core questions. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-explained point with specific, relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between ideas is often mechanical or disjointed. For example, the transition 'To commence with' is used, but the subsequent sentences are fragmented and difficult to follow due to grammatical errors. Cohesive devices are present, such as 'as a result' and 'on the other hand', but they are sometimes used incorrectly or in a way that does not effectively connect the ideas. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks logical progression, making the overall argument feel repetitive.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'work' and 'time'. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect collocations, such as 'good caretaker to do household work' and 'bust time table'. The student attempts to use some academic vocabulary, but the lack of precision in word choice often hinders the clarity of the message. To reach a higher band, the student should focus on learning more precise synonyms and common collocations related to work and lifestyle topics.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('This trend have', 'grandparents gets'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on or lack proper punctuation, making them difficult to parse. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, these are often faulty, leading to confusion. The student needs to focus on basic sentence construction and proofreading to eliminate errors in tense and agreement before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
