Student answer (Band 6.5)
In this fast paced era, people have an option to allow others to do their work such as household chores, taking care of kids and so on. This is a great way to provide an employment to the people who are in need. On the other side it is better to do some of the work by themselves. This essay will discuss the both views.
To commence with, every individual has some quality and qualification. On that bases they get job. But, some people do not have the education and they only rely on such job where do not need degrees. For that taking care of children and performing household cleaning is best option for that. this will strengthen their confidence and get an opportunity to work independently and earn money. Secondly, looking after child is vital for parents. It strengthen the bonding of parent-child and reduce the any type conflicts. Moreover, it will reduce the cost of hiring someone. Sometimes it is compromise the safety of child and home. Such as, crime, robbery, child abduction. For instance, there are a lot of cases happens and majority culprit were known person.
To recapitulate, several people hire somebody to do their work by paying them. It is great idea to helping people with employment but people should keep safety in mind and do not trust someone blindly. After all, "prevention is better than cure".

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the benefits of providing employment and the reasons for doing tasks oneself. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding the safety risks of hiring help is introduced but lacks depth, relying on general statements rather than a well-supported explanation. While the response covers all parts of the task, the ideas could be extended further to reach a higher band. The conclusion is brief but effectively summarizes the main points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'On the other hand', and 'Moreover' are used to guide the reader. However, there are instances where the flow is slightly mechanical, and some transitions feel abrupt. Referencing is generally clear, though some sentences lack smooth integration, such as the transition into the example about domestic workers. Overall, the paragraphing is appropriate, and the progression of ideas is easy to follow, meeting the requirements for a Band 6.5 or 7.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task. The student uses some relevant terms like 'domestic setting', 'minimum wages', and 'child abduction'. However, there is a lack of variety and precision in word choice. Phrases like 'do some of the work by themselves' and 'doing own work' are repetitive and slightly unnatural. There are also minor errors in collocation and word formation, such as 'on that bases' instead of 'on that basis'. To improve, the student should focus on using more sophisticated synonyms and idiomatic expressions to convey ideas more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the both views', 'the safety of child'), subject-verb agreement ('there are a lot of cases happens'), and preposition usage. Some sentences are fragmented or awkward, such as 'Sometimes it is compromise the safety of child'. These errors do not significantly impede communication, but they are persistent throughout the text. A greater focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy would help elevate the score.
