Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is possible to employ an housekeeper or nannies to take care of the house especially during a busy schedules and when you are not up to it. This essay will discuss why I strongly believe that it is a good way for provide employment for other individuals.
Getting the job done by themselves is quite alright but can be mentally draining. This means that to perform this work like taking care of kids are rather challenging and individual have to be strongly fit for the chores both mentally and physically. For instance, children who dislikes attending school can prove difficult whenever it is time to go prepare for school and this can lead to some morning exercises with the child as they tend to run.
Hiring of household staffs like cooks, nannies and house-keepers can create job opportunities for the unemployed. This means that domestic staff who does not have a source of income can be selected which reduces the labor market and people looking for work. For example, an individuals can upgrade their employment status when they are hired as a domestic staff. In addition, it is convenient due to the employers busy schedules which can be quite challenging most importantly when you close late from work.
In my view, although performing this work yourself is beneficial and less expensive but hiring an household staff should be paramount because it prioritize your mental being and create time to balance work-house duties.
In conclusion, employing staffs is more beneficial to the individual and it creates work opportunities and time for one to relax.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The student addresses all parts of the task, discussing both whether employing domestic help is a good way to provide work and whether people should do these chores themselves. A clear position is stated in the introduction ('I strongly believe that it is a good way for provide employment') and maintained throughout the essay. Ideas are extended, such as explaining how caring for children can be mentally draining and how hiring staff reduces unemployment. However, some arguments lack full development or contain slight over-generalizations. For instance, the link between hiring a domestic worker and reducing the labor market could be explained with greater nuance. Overall, the response meets the core requirements of the prompt effectively, earning a solid Band 6.5.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a logical progression of ideas from introduction to conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately, with distinct paragraphs for the introduction, body arguments regarding personal well-being versus employment generation, and a concluding summary. Cohesive devices are employed, such as 'For instance', 'In addition', and 'In my view', though referencing and transitions can occasionally feel slightly mechanical. For example, the phrase 'This means that to perform this work like taking care of kids are rather challenging' disrupts the flow slightly due to grammatical friction. Overall, the logical structure is clear, fulfilling the Band 6 descriptor well.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating topic-specific terms such as 'domestic staff', 'unemployed', 'employment status', and 'mentally draining'. There are, however, several word choice and morphological errors, such as 'employ an housekeeper' (article and noun form error), 'dislikes' instead of 'dislike', and 'employing staffs' (staff is generally uncountable). Furthermore, some phrases show awkward collocation like 'morning exercises with the child'. Despite these inaccuracies, the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the intended meaning without impeding the reader, aligning well with the Band 6 criteria.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some ambition with structures like 'It is possible to employ... especially during a busy schedule' and conditional-like framing. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('take care of kids are rather challenging', 'an individuals can upgrade'), prepositions ('good way for provide'), and plurals ('busy schedules' when referring to a singular employer's routine). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but the grammatical errors require the reader to occasionally pause. These issues place the grammatical performance firmly in the Band 5.5 to 6.0 range, reflecting a mixed control of complex structures.
